I am fucking pissed.

I stood outside that school for two fucking hours. It's not like I wanted to stay there and wait. But if I left, Alberto would be on my case. And I cannot have any problems with him until the deal we're working on is finalized.

Until then, I have to put up with Alberto and his spoiled little princess. I'm sure she's over eighteen. Why couldn’t she drive herself?

Apart from that, she's constantly talking. I’m not fussy- in my opinion- but I hate loud noises. It gives me a migraine. And that girl is anything but quiet.

While finishing up some work last night, I heard her laughing her ass off watching some tv show. It sounded like a squeaking door. I went to bed with a headache and it continued for the rest of the day. I think it got worse from her yapping in the car this morning.

“Don't.” I glance at her.

She pulls back the hand that was about to put on the radio and places it on her lap.

My phone’s ringtone goes off,  making the peace and quiet come to an end. “Speak.” I connect the call to the Bluetooth in my car.

“Capo, there's been a breach in the system.” The head of my Cyber team, reports.

[Capo- Boss]

“How the fuck did that happen?!” My grip on the steering wheel tightens.

“We're working on finding the reason, Capo.”

“I'll be there in a few minutes.”

“Where are we going?” She asks.

“Your father’s office.” I mumble, turning the corner.

Since I am working with Alberto, I moved some of my employees to his office.  The thought of sitting through meetings with him only gets me more annoyed.

Alberto’s ego is bigger than his brain. He doesn't stop talking about his legacy. Which to be honest, doesn't exist. He owns multiple human trafficking rings which is sickening to think of; providing the fact that he has a daughter.

Not to mention the amount of people he has scammed. The only reason I formed a deal with Alberto is because I want to be the cause of his ruin.

By the time the deal is finalized, Alberto will be nothing. He'll be on the streets. He'll feel the same way the people he scammed felt when everything they've worked on got stolen by a lying prick. A prick who is worth the same thing as a piece of paper on the floor. Nothing.

All the attention turns to us as we enter.

“Walk with me.” My assistant matches my strides while we walk over to the tech room.

“Capo.” My employees nod.

“How's the situation? Has anyone's information been compromised?” The head of my Cyber team turns his laptop towards me.

“Cheryl Reed's information. But, we’ve already taken care of it. Also, she's on her death bed so it doesn't matter.”

“Send flowers to her family.”

Once I've double checked everything, I walk towards the lobby. I stop myself from rolling my eyes at the sight of Lilac bothering the lady at the front desk.

“I love lilacs. Which is ironic because my name is Lilac.” There goes her squeaky door laugh.

“Ready? Or are you spending the night here?” I wouldn't mind that though.
