Whoever decided that school begins at 8am clearly doesn't know the joy of sleeping in. Lorenzo got me enrolled into a nearby college so I'll be able to complete my studies. Thank god, the teachers speak English because I do not understand Italian.

My eyes are barely open when I stand in front of my mirror. There's strands of hair sticking out in random places and even some standing up. I look like I've been electrocuted. The bags under my eyes are definitely not helping either. Last night, Rio and I stayed up till after midnight playing video games. I'm not complaining though. I won all ten rounds.

Once I looked somewhat presentable, I headed down to the kitchen. Everyone was already sitting at the island, some looking half- dead and the others busy on phone calls or reading a magazine.

“Thank you.” The chef leaves my breakfast in front of me before hurrying back to the stove where he was cooking pancakes.

Taking a bite, I looked at Kai who held a Magazine, hiding most of his face. I've noticed that he spends most of his free time reading. “What's your plans for today?”

He closes the Magazine, giving me his undivided attention. “Work.” His answer was simple and short. Not giving away what work he does.

“What work do you do?”

“We all work for Enzo.” I turned to face Lorenzo who was leaning against one of the counters with his phone pressed against his ears and Coffee in his free hand.

“And what work is that?” I eat the last piece of Bacon on my plate before placing the empty dish in the sink.

“Just normal office things.”

“Aren't you going to be late?” Hudson intervenes.

Oh shit!

It's my first day and I’m already going to be late. Chugging down my cup of water I sprint out the door. Lorenzo assigned me a personal driver. No one will ever be able to replace Fred though.

I frown, thinking of Fred. He hasn't answered my calls. I even resorted to using Email. The minute he responds, I'll have Lorenzo fly him here.

My mind was so distracted I didn't realize we stopped outside the school until the driver opened the door. It feels like 6th grade all over again. We had just moved houses and I got enrolled in a new school. It was in the middle of the school year. Everyone already had friends. For months I sat on my own and even did a five person project on my own. Closer to the end of the year, that's when Leo and I met.

I'm scared shitless as I make my way through the double doors. The school screamed expensive. Everything looked brand new.

My schedule and a pamphlet with everything I needed to know and a map was sent a few days ago so all I had to do was follow the directions. The nervousness had calmed down when I entered the hall. Everyone welcomed me with a smile.

Maybe this won't be so bad after all.

Chaos.

The house was pure chaos when I entered. Things were scattered everywhere and people were scrambling around. Rio ran past me with a suit in his hand but quickly disappeared before I could stop him.
