Tandem

Chapter 2

Huli na ng namalayan ni Giselle kung ano ang ginawa nya. Dinilat nya ang kanyang mga mata at nakitang nakadilat rin pala ang binatang hinalikan nya at nakatitig ito sa kanya in clear surprise. She quickly pulled away from him and let go of his cheeks. Ilang segundo lang naman yun. Sana huwag nyang bigyan ng malisya.

"Sorry," she laughed and gave him the peace sign.

"Um, I can't say that I would ever turn down the advances of a beautiful woman, but..."

"Teka teka," she raised her hand up to stop Sam from talking. "Huwag mo naman bigyan ng malisya yun. I was just...thankful! Thankful dahil I made it out alive! Alam mo namang takot na takot ako sa heights, hindi ba?" she reasoned with him.

"Right..." he smirked at her.

"You don't believe me?" she pouted at him.

"Well, hindi naman kasi ikaw ang unang babaeng ng first move sa akin," he chuckled.

"Yabang!" she punched him on the chest. "I'll have you know, I'm not making any first moves with you. Oo na, gwapo ka, pero wala ako sa tamang emotional mindset to make a move on you, no!"

"Talaga?" he goaded her.

"Look, I've just been through the worst day of my life. Not that I owe you any explanations, but the last thing I need is to pounce on a man para lang makalimutan lahat ng problema ko."

"Actually, sounds like a perfect solution to me," he placed his hands on his hips and stared at her.

"Whatever. Binigyan mo na nga ng malisya. Sorry pero mali ang akala mo. Seryoso ako, I'm just glad to be alive," she rolled her eyes at him.

"Sabi mo eh," he continued to smirk at her. Hindi nya alam kung bakit ba iniinis nya ang dalaga. She's beautiful when she's angry.

"Bahala ka, salamat at hindi mo ko nilaglag kanina. Bye!" she huffed and went towards the door kung saan pabalik sa opisina ng Tandem Skydiving Company. She was mumbling to herself about how mahangin and mahambog si Sam nung tumayo si Jasmine from her chair at sinalubong sya.

"Miss Gel, kamusta po ang skydiving experience?" the younger woman smiled at her.

"Okay naman. Buhay pa rin naman ako," she joked.

"That's good. Kuya is really the best instructor there is."

"Yeah, he was alright..." she shrugged. "Kung sana hindi lang sya mahangin..." she muttered under her breath.

"Ano po yun?" Jasmine curiously asked her.

"Wala. Ang sabi ko lang, once in a lifetime experience. I'm glad na may na cross out ako sa aking bucket list," Giselle replied.

"That's good, po. It will only take a few minutes to edit your video together. May napili na po ba kayong background song para sa DVD copy nyo?"

"Ano na lang, meron ba kayo nung Paano Ba Ang Magmahal?"

"Bagong bago," Jasmine smiled. "Meron po."

"Sige, yun na lang. Bitter ako ngayon," Giselle laughed.

"Miss Gel, hindi naman sa nanghihimasok ako, pero kung ano man ang nangyari sa inyo, he's not worth your tears. Alam kong hindi ko naman po kayo kilala, pero any guy who makes a woman cry is a jerk in my book."

"Aww, you're sweet," Giselle smiled at Jasmine. She took the shoes she borrowed off and handed them to the other girl. "Thank you nga pala for the shoes."

"You're welcome."

"Okay, about 30 seconds left..."

"Actually, I just remembered na I left my purse in my car. I'll be back, I just need to get my cell phone."
