Giselle was dancing around, her earbuds in her ears, her seaweed mask on her face as she buttered some slices of bread para gumawa ng toast.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" they screamed at the same time.
She pulled her earbuds out of her ears.
"Sam, ano ka ba naman!" she recovered and got paper towels para punasan ang sahig na basa na ng orange juice.
"Anong ako?" pagdepensa naman ng binata. "Ikaw kaya dyan. Ano ba yang nasa mukha mo? Akala ko tuloy may monster!"
"Monster? Excuse me?
"Ouch," she shook out her hurt hand.
After all, she was living under his roof rent free. "And for your information, seaweed mask po itong nasa mukha ko. Kailangan kong mag de-stress, and your sister gave this to me, along with some shower supplies kagabi. Salamat nga pala sa pantulog na pinahiram mo sa akin," she looked down at the white t-shirt and blue plaid boxer shorts she was wearing.
"You're welcome. My clothes look good on you," he winked at her.
"Hay, hindi uubra ang mga linya mong yan, kamahalan," she rolled her eyes.
"Anong lines? I'm just saying. White and blue are definitely your colors. Ikaw talaga, nilalagyan mo agad ng malisya."
"At ako nanaman nakita mo," she pouted and set down the plate of toast that she somehow managed not to burn. Her mom was the best cook she had ever known.
"Asan yung ham? Hot dog? Itlog?" he looked to see if there were other items she cooked besides the toast.
He grinned and grabbed the strawberry jam from the refrigerator at umupo na sa mesa. He opened the jar and spread some on his buttered toast. "Joke lang. I appreciate this, sobra."
"Good," she smiled back.
I hope you don't mind."
