Shu Jintian used this chance to evaluate the snake nest. It was an underground tunnel with the exit facing upwards. The height of the tunnel was about three or four meters and was very precipitous. The cave was devoid of things he could use as leverage, and he was unable to leave on his own.
Wrapped up in the snake’s coils, Shu Jintian was brought out of the cave and he realised that it was now close to dusk. He had been unconscious for the better part of the day.
However, Shu Jintian did not imagine that this ‘better part of the day’ wasn’t in accordance with his usual time. The better part of the day here was equivalent to an entire day on Earth.
His body was tightly wrapped and dragged around. Shu Jintian had no margin to struggle and thus didn’t resist, electing to conserve his strength instead.
However, what in the world was this python’s plan? Bringing his food reserve to stroll around the garden?
The female’s obedience made the Spiritual Snake very satisfied. Sure enough, he had to have an unyielding attitude towards females; just look at how effective it was. He definitely wouldn’t give his female a chance to escape, and would not even allow him to harbour any thought of escaping.
The python brought Shu Jintian along for a stretch of the road and discovered that he had shrunk into his body without a single movement. They ran into a few beasts, but there wasn’t much reaction from him. For a time, the snake couldn’t figure out what in the world he liked.
The Spiritual Snake turned its head back and hissed out twice.
Shu Jintian immediately looked at the large, dark green snake, his heartbeat quickening once more.
The female’s fearful attitude towards him delighted the Spiritual Snake and he kindheartedly loosened his tail, releasing the female to roam around freely.
The released Shu Jintian was a little flabbergasted, and his heart started pounding with his newfound freedom. It was beating even more violently than when he was suddenly glanced at by the large snake.
Shu Jintian wanted to flee, wanted his freedom! But no, if he took a wrong step, he would probably be buried in the snake’s mouth the next second. There was too much disparity between their strengths, and this could be the reason the python let him go so casually ba!
Suppressing his urge to break into a run and flee, his body that had been bound was a little numb. He pretended to casually exercise his limbs but still obediently stood beside the large snake, afraid of taking even half a step away.
The Spiritual Snake was even more satisfied and used his tail to lightly sweep Shu Jintian, indicating for him to pick the food he wanted. He would catch it for him.
Shu Jintian was ‘gently’ patted by the snake and his body staggered forward, collapsing and nearly falling onto the floor.
Looking at its eyes, it wasn’t planning to let him walk off, so what did it want to do by releasing him?
The lack of malicious intent in its eyes had Shu Jintian hazarding an absurd guess.
This snake, did it want to raise him as a pet? Because he was all smooth like the snake? A lot of familiarities?
Then it was now releasing him to let him find food to eat. Just now in the cave, the beast it had tossed to him was also to feed him ba!
Damn it! Unexpectedly being kept captive and reared by a snake!
This sort of cognition made Shu Jintian feel awful all over. However, he wasn’t in life-threatening danger, in any case, so cooperating with it, for now, wasn’t a bad idea.
