Find Edward

Introduction

This begins with a house. A medium-sized yellow house. It had a main building that was built with yellow blocks. To its right was an add-on that was made with the same yellow blocks. On the left was a small roofed alcove made with a similar block. It had pillars holding it up but was otherwise open to nature. There was a circular drive for the carriages and a small set of stairs leading to the entryway. There were walls on either side of the home that blocked the view of the garden. The house had two chimneys, one on either side of it.

Now to the daughter of the owner of the home. Her name was Miss Claudia Cadwell. She is nineteen years old. Miss Cadwell was a timid and introverted lady. She rarely spoke to anyone except her grandmother. That didn't take anything away from her looks. She was the belle of the town. Her nut-brown hair was always in a bun at the nape of her neck. Small strands would constantly escape and frame her face beautifully. She also always had a quill tucked behind her ear. Miss Cadwell had a lovely peach skin tone. Her face was covered with small, dark freckles that dotted her nose and cheeks. Miss Cadwell was slender but not scrawny. She always wore a light blue dress with a navy blue overcoat. Her eyes were a dark mysterious brown.

Over half the bachelors of the town have romantic feelings towards her. The poor girl was constantly being harassed by men and their marriage proposals. It was due to her looks and incredible wealth. Since Miss Cadwell didn't have any cousins or siblings she and her grandmother inherited the house when Miss Cadwell suddenly lost both her parents. It made her one of the richest unclaimed ladies in the town. Almost all of the boys wanted her. Those who didn't were the smart ones.

Now, tonight Miss Cadwells' grandmother was hosting a ball for all the people in town. It was taking place in the Cadwell home and was going to be the biggest event of the year. All the bachelors were excited for the ball meant they had a chance at dancing with the young Miss Cadwell.

On this same day, a newcomer arrived. He was the new doctor. He was twenty years old and handsome. He had short curly hair. His skin was a darker tone that gave him the appearance of being tan from the sun. His eyes were dark brown and he was around six feet in height ( tall to the people of this town). His name was Dr. Edward Barlow. He was assigned to this town because the last doctor retired. This meant the town had no doctor until the new one arrived. I had traveled all day and was beyond exhausted when he arrived at the town. Since he had never been to this town he had no clue where anything was located.

Unfortunately, for him, he arrived while the ball was still in progress. The town was a graveyard. So he ended up roaming around with his luggage searching for a soul to point him in the right direction. To his dismay, he couldn't find a single soul.
