I stood at the border of the Enchanted Forest, staring at the sea of constantly changing leaves. Each one is a different color every minute, and a person could get lost watching the leaves. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to get lost looking at the leaves. I calmly walked to the border, placed a hand in the air, and pushed forward. I watched as black tendrils crept from the shadows on the ground and started making their way up a tree trunk. Once the tendrils were high enough I clenched my hand. I felt gleeful as the tree started turning black underneath the tendrils. In a matter of minutes, the trunk and leaves were black. I walked over to the tree and gently poked it. The tree dissolved into ash and danced away in the breeze. I finally mastered my spell. Nothing could stop me now in this magicless world.
I turned in the direction of the palace and grinned. My time had finally come to steal the throne. The king and his daughter couldn't stop me now that I had power, they could only beg for mercy as I slowly destroyed their beautiful kingdom before their eyes. Payback for all of their injustice was long overdue and I decided it was time to complain.
I thrust my hand forward and watched as the tendrils started climbing all the trees in my path. As I walked forward I touched each tree and watched them crumble to dust. This was going to be so much fun.
