Test Subject: 23-C

Blood Type: A+

It has been three days since my last entry. I am afraid that Subject 23-C has passed. It has taken a toll on those of us who have cared for this subject. The headaches got worse within the past three days. She began screaming every night, thrashing. We were forced to restrain her once she began to hurt herself, possibly to end the pain.

None of the medicine we had given her eased the aching. Not even the strongest of the medication. We attempted to put her under with absolutely anything we could get a hold of, but nothing worked. It was as if CX-559 had canceled all of the effects completely. Subject 23-C, on the last day of her life, began bleeding profusely from her nose, and then her ears, then her mouth, spitting blood. Lastly, she went blind, bleeding from her eyes.

Subject 23-C passed away this morning at 0600. After disposing of the body, I spoke with my colleagues about the effects of CX-559. I am afraid we have all made a dire mistake.
