Chapter 16: Double Trouble

Back in the city, Yueling surfed as quickly as she could to catch up to Huksoi.

"Just a little bit closer..." she says as she slowly gains onto him. She pulls out her water gun, aiming it at Huksoi. Just as she was about to shoot, Huksoi suddenly changed direction, making a sharp turn.

Yueling gasped. "Sh*t," she muttered. She changed direction to chase after it. As she did, she nearly fell off her wave. Up ahead, she saw rockets about to come out of the aircraft.

"F*CK!!" She screamed. The rockets launched at Yueling at insane speeds, catching her off guard and causing her to fall off her wave. She just barely caught herself in time by making a curved ice wall, sliding onto it and back on her wave.

"Ok, now you're asking for it." Yueling increased the water pressure, making a bigger wave before jumping off. She then guided the water to go in front of Huksoi and quickly froze it, creating an ice wall. However, it wasn't big or thick enough to stop the plane. Huksoi simply rammed into the ice, shattering it, leaving the large pieces falling towards Yueling, who combatively shattered some of the broken pieces before jumping onto the remaining pieces as though they were a staircase. However, Huksoi didn't waste any time. As soon as Yueling got to the last piece, a portal suddenly opened up.

"Whoa!!" Yueling exclaimed as she jumped through. Suddenly, she was flying between buildings, going through portal after portal. She was getting quite nauseous.

"I feel like I'm going to puke-" Yueling thought. Just as she was about to lose it, she hit the ground with a thud. "OOF!!!" Yueling was winded out as she hit the ground. She still didn't get a break, though. Right as she was regaining some of her consciousness, multiple portals opened up on the white building walls surrounding her.

"Oh sh*t..." Yueling muttered. She looked into each of the portals and nearly fainted. Out of each portal, a rocket was about to come out, all coming straight for Yueling.

"Gotta go!!!" Yueling quickly made a water sphere and a bunch of ice spikes came out of it, destroying each rocket before creating a small but fast wave that allowed for Yueling's escape.

"That girl is vicious! How is she not the most wanted?" Yueling thought to herself. She then looked up to find the aircraft. To her surprise, it was simply hovering over one of the buildings. "What the hell? It was just hovering there the whole time?"

"SPECIAL AGENT 007!!" One of the subordinates of Yueling's platoon called out, riding up to her along with the subdivision. "Perfect timing. We could probably help each other out."

"Indeed," Yueling responded. "This thief is not to be underestimated. She knows her explosives."

"What?" The subordinate says, clearly confused. Suddenly, they hear a hatch opening up. They look up just in time to see Huksoi hovering right above them, about to drop a bomb.

"LOOK OUT!!" Yueling screams. She quickly takes one of the large ice pieces from earlier and throws it at the bomb, imploding it midair.

"EVERYONE AFTER THE AIRCRAFT!!" Yueling cries, creating one final wave to chase after Huksoi. However, Huksoi quickly dispatches each one of Yueling's subordinates, throwing rockets into portals which then appear in front of each person. Yueling looked in disbelief at the massacre happening around her, hearing scream after scream.

"You'll pay for this! I don't care if I'm not supposed to, I'm going to kill you for killing all of my crew!" Yueling yelled, but it couldn't be heard amidst all the chaos. "I will catch you if it's the last thing I do!"

Meanwhile, Ri was quietly tagging after Yueling's chase with Huksoi, being extra careful to not accidentally activate her lightning. She was stunned. She had no idea Huksoi was armed with such explosives.
