Chapter 23

Lizzie's pov:

I haven't seen Y/n since she went to talk to her mother earlier, she hasn't texted me, or anything. I already asked her friends, but they don't have an idea either

Classes has ended, I was walking around school with Maddie, Kitty, and Darling, we were looking for Y/n. The others were also looking for Y/n in another part of the school, we were all wondering how Y/n could have vanished just like that

I started to cry, they started to comfort me. But my mind couldn't get off the fact that there's a chance Y/n has gotten kidnapped again

"Hey, it's going to be fine. We'll find her, when was the last time anyone saw her?" - Darling

"Arena" The three of us answered, Darling sighed. I'm guessing that was also the last time she saw Y/n

"She went to talk to her mom" I added, Darling looked at me and thought of something

"Does Apple know where she is?" Darling asked, we all looked at eachother and shook our heads

"I haven't talked to her today" I said, the other two said they haven't as well. Darling took her phone and chatted someone, I'm guessing it's Apple

It took a few seconds before she got a reply

"She said Y/n is with their mom and we shouldn't worry" Darling said, we all sighed in relief. But it got me thinking

"Why didn't she tell me? Or any of us?" I asked, something weird is going on and I don't have a good feeling about it

"If Apple said she's with her mom then that means she's safe, we should go rest. It's getting late" Darling tried to assure us, we nodded and went to out dorms to get some rest

I layed in my bed, I tried to stop thinking about Y/n but I couldn't. I couldn't help but cry until I finally went to sleep

I woke up and immediately took my MirrorPhone to see if Y/n chatted, to my disappointment there was no notification from her

I got ready and went to the dragon stable, I went to find Snickerdoodle. I just got the urge to find a part of Y/n, I was growing nervous for her

I looked around, looking at every inch of the stable. But I didn't find Snickerdoodle, I told the twins and they helped me find her

"She must've took off, but why?" - Holly

"Maybe she tried to find Y/n?" - Poppy

I sighed and held my head, Y/n and her pet is missing. How am I supposed to go on with my day, knowing that they could be in potential danger?

"Let's try to find her again later, for now we should get ready for going to the arena" Holly said, I nodded and bid my goodbye before going to dress in my dragon games attire

We are now at the arena, where the two queens will be choosing the teams and captain

"First will be the closing of the two teams and captains. Following that, since your dragons are not fledged, today you will merely walk your young dragons through their paces " - Milton

We all groaned, disappointed at the announcement

"But, no fear! The evil Queen will today offer a masterclass demonstration of dragonriding" - Giles

We cheered, excited for the demonstration. They tossed a coing and it landed on the dark side, meaning that the evil queen will choose first
