Chapter 12

Third person's pov:

(Ok so I totally forgot the eah story so I'll just write whatever)

"I admit that this wasn't the best thing you have done, ashlynn is your friend, and a good one at that. Make things right apple, I know you can do it" y/n said as she let go of apple and walked back to eat lunch with cerise and cedar

"You can go to ashlynn if you want" cerise smiled, y/n shook her head "No, I think she needs time to process things. And I'm sure everything will be alright soon enough" cerise nodded her head and the 3 of them began to eat lunch

Y/n's attention drifted to a certain heart gal who was eating alone "Hey girls, do you mind if I eat with someone else today?" Y/n asked, having a hopeful look in her eyes

The two laughed and nodded, y/n thanked them before walking to lizzie with her food "Hey lizzie, mind if I eat with you?" Lizzie looked at her, shocked

"Oh yeah, yeah, I don't mind, do sit down" lizzie motioned y/n to sit beside her, y/n smiled and sat down

"Where's kitty?"

"Probably off wandering in the forest, as always"

"She doesn't eat lunch with you?"

"On rare occasions she does, normally I eat alone"

Y/n was saddened by this, how did she not notice this the whole time she was here?

"Well, I'd lunch to eat lunch with you from now on. Can I?" Y/n smiled brightly, almost making lizzie faint. But lizzie just nodded and looked away

Making y/n doubt that she wanted to eat together, unbeknownst to her that lizzie was just blushing

The two ate while having a calm yet comforting conversation, making them just a little bit closer to each other

As lunch came to an end, y/n and lizzie stood ip to go to their respective classes. But before y/n could take a step, lizzie held her hand to stop her

"Hm? You okay lizzie?" Y/n turned around, smiling at lizzie who was looking at the floor

"I just- uhm..." Y/n waited patiently for lizzie to talk

"Duchess isn't invited to the party, and kitty's going alone. I don't have someone to walk with" lizzie sounded sad, like she didn't want to be alone

"I'll walk with you, I was already planning to anyway so don't worry" y/n crouched a little to meet lizzie's gaze, lizzie was stunned but shook it off and smiled

"Well you should've been, I'm a princess you know" she huffed as she turned her head away, y/n couldn't help but to laugh

'Aren't I a princess as well?'

"Ofcourse princess, now let's get to class" y/n then dragged lizzie to her class since y/n was going to pass by it on her way to her class anyway

"Here you are, see you later" y/n stopped on lizzie's class "See you later" lizzie kissed y/n's cheek before hurriedly walking inside, leaving y/n stunned and a blushing mess

When the afternoon classes ended, y/n was dragged by briar to her shared dorm with ashylnn to get ready for the dance

The 3 of them were getting ready, briar and y/n having a conversation with ashlynn just quiet on the side. After a bit, briar slipped on a peaceful nap on her makeup chair

Y/n took this chance to talk with ashlynn, who was looking sadly at her picture with hunter

"Ash..." Y/n smiled sadly as she went beside ashlynn, "I'm fine Y/n, don't worry about me" ashylnn said, not meeting y/n's gaze

Y/n sighed and side-hugged ashlynn "I knwo things are really hard right now, but I promise you things will eventually get better. Just don't give up, I'll be here for you" y/n flashed a comforting smile

Ashlynn smiled a little and nodded her head "Now let's wake up briar, the party's gonna start soon" y/n went to briar

"I just hope it'll get better..."
