Version 2:
In the lively corridors of University of Mumbai, two souls found an extraordinary connection that would shape their lives.
Abhyudaya, an engineering student and Gautami, a literature major were as different as night and day. Yet, their friendship blossomed from mutual admiration and a deep understanding of each other.
~First Meet~
Abhyudaya was sitting alone in the library, lost in his thermodynamics textbook.
His concentration was broken by the sound of someone tripping and dropping a pile of books.
He looked up to see a girl with an embarrassed smile, trying to gather her scattered books.
"Need some help?" He offered, getting up to assist her.
"Thanks that would be great," she replied, brushing her hair away from her face. "I am Gautami by the way."
"Abhyudaya. You must really love books," he said, glancing at the titles.
"I do. I am a literature major. And you?" She asked.
"Engineering. Thermodynamics, to be precise," he replied.
Gautami laughed. "Sounds intense. Maybe you can explain it to me sometime."
"Sure, as long as you promise to introduce me to some good literature," Abhyudaya said with a smile.
~Building A Bond~
Their friendship grew quickly. They spent countless hours in the library, helping each other with their studies.
Abhyudaya was amazed by Gautami's passion for literature, while she admired his logical mind and problem-solving skills.
One evening, they decided to take a break from studying and went for a walk around the campus.
"Do you ever feel like we're missing out on something by focusing so much on our studies?" Gautami asked, looking up at the stars.
"Sometimes. But then I remember why I am doing it. I want to make a difference, you know?" Abhyudaya replied.
"Me too. Through stories, I want to touch people's hearts and make them see the world differently," Gautami said softly.
Abhyudaya smiled. "You already do that for me."
~The First Crisis~
As their friendship deepened, they began to rely on each other for more than just academic support. One day, Gautami received devastating news that her father had fallen seriously ill.
"Abhyudaya, I do not know what to do," she cried over the phone. "I am scared and do not want to lose him."
"I will be there in ten minutes," Abhyudaya said without hesitation.
He rushed to her dorm and found her sitting on the floor, tears streaming down her face. He knelt beside her and took her hands in his.
"We will get through this together," he said firmly. "You are not alone."
Over the next few weeks, Abhyudaya accompanied Gautami to the hospital and supported her through her father's recovery. His presence was a source of immense comfort for her.
~Realizations~
Their bond only grew stronger after that. They were inseparable, sharing dreams, fears and even mundane moments of their lives.
One evening, as they sat in the campus café, Abhyudaya found himself staring at Gautami as she animatedly talked about her latest favorite book.
"Abhyudaya? Are you even listening?" She asked, waving her hand in front of his face.
