AIAH

I finally made it to my first class. Thankfully, I only had two subjects today: one in the morning and another at 4 PM.

As I settled into my seat, the thought of the red-haired girl lingered in my mind. She had looked at me with an intensity that made me feel like I was a long-lost toy she used to love when she was little.

I couldn’t shake the feeling. Her gaze had been so piercing, so full of something I couldn’t quite place. Throughout the lecture, my mind kept drifting back to her.

What was it about her that captivated me so much? Was it just her striking appearance, or was there something more? I wondered if I would ever have the courage to find out.

TIME SKIP

The class ended, I gathered my things and made my way to the cafeteria, hoping a break would help clear my head. Yet, even as I sipped my coffee, her image stayed with me. I was lost in thought, my friends arrived and joined me at the table.

“Hey, okay ka lang? You look bothered." Lorie asked.

Uh, hi! w-wala ‘to, I just suddenly remembered our trip to Thailand before”  I quickly shook my head, not wanting to dive into the topic or raise any suspicions about my interest in someone.

Malorie gave me a skeptical look but didn't press any further.

“I missed that!! Kailan ba ulit tayo makakapag travel?” Sia asked, her face lighting up at the thought of us traveling again.

“Siguro when our schedules align? I'm sure mabibitin lang tayo kapag nag-travel tayo ngayon tapos busy schedules,” Samantha replied with a sigh.

Our conversation was interrupted by the sudden screams of girls nearby.

“Si Mikhael!!!” A girl exclaimed in excitement.

“Oh my god, ang pogi” another girl added, her voice filled with awe.

I saw the red-haired girl walking into the cafeteria with two friends trailing behind her. Ang pogi naman niya.

All eyes turned toward the commotion. Whispers and chatter spread quickly, and I could see students gathering, their faces lit up with admiration.

Phones were pulled out for selfies and the noise grew, as more students joined in, trying to catch a glimpse of the girl.

Her presence had clearly caused a stir, turning the cafeteria into a scene of chaos.

With a calm, confident demeanor, she raised her hands slightly and spoke to the students. "Thanks, everyone. I appreciate the support, pero chill lang dapat. We're startling all the other students who are trying to enjoying their peace with their friends."

The noise gradually subsided as the crowd dispersed. The students returned to their seats, and the cafeteria's usual hum resumed.

Mikha and her friends took the vacant seats nearby, settling down as if nothing had happened.

Four boys approached them, clearly familiar with the group.
