AIAH

"Sam? pa-open nga nung heater mo, ang lamig kasi." I said, hugging my arms.

"Sure" she nodded and got up to turn on the heater.

I'm at Samantha's condo, which isn't that far from my place. We're currently waiting for our friends to arrive.

It's a rainy afternoon, with the gray sky and the steady sound of raindrops tapping against the window. The air was crisp and cool. It created a cozy atmosphere, perfect for curling up. This kind of weather always brought me comfort and it seemed to leave calmness.

"By the way, sino pala yung mga kaibigan mong pupunta mamaya?" I asked, breaking the silence.

"I can't tell you pa eh, It's a surprise pero sure ako matutuwa kayo" she glanced at me and answered with a grin. I decided not to ask further.

I wrapped a blanket around myself, enjoying the warmth. Then suddenly, we heard a knock at the door.

"Sandali lang, ako na magbubukas ate Aiah," Samantha volunteered, getting up to open it.

It was Malorie and Sia, "Hi guys! Narito na ang mga magaganda," Sia chuckled, stepping inside and shaking off a bit of the rain from her coat.

"Hello! Hi!" I greeted.

Sam started teasing Sia "Huh? Asan yung maganda?" Sam asked, her right hand placed at the top of her brows, pretending to look around.

"San kaba nakatingin? nasa harap mo na nga ako" Sia moved right in front of Sam, causing her to burst into laughter.

"Tumabi nga kayo dadaan yung pinaka maganda" Lorie scoffed, walking between Sam and Sia. They gave her side-eye looks, making me laugh out loud.

After the playful banter and laughter, they gathered in the living room while I went to the kitchen counter.

I made up my mind to go to the grocery store to buy ingredients because I planned to cook for them later.

"Hey guys, I think I'll go out and buy some ingredients muna. Wala kasi yung ibang need ko sa pantry ni Sam," I said.

"Okay! ingat ate Aiah!" Sia replied, giving me a thumbs up. The two simply nodded and smiled.

"Thankies, balik ako agad," I assured them, grabbing my bag.

The rain had lightened up and then stopped, so I decided to head out. I walked briskly to the grocery store.

When I arrived, I navigated through the store and started looking for the ingredients I needed. Should I buy two of these? Masyado nabang marami 'to? I asked myself.

After collecting everything I needed. I stepped outside but it suddenly began to rain heavily again. I groaned in frustration.
