There was another knock at the door. It wasn't this often you received company in your quarters but twice in the one night?

"Prince Aemond again my lady." The door swung open before you had a chance to say come in. Your brother approached you at a slow pace, his hands cupped together as if holding something delicate.

"Your palm, sister." He gestured a nod for you to hold out your hands.

"Close your eyes..."

You did as you were told. You felt his hand graze your own and something crawled around in your palm.

"Ok, open..."

You couldn't believe it. You've spent months looking for this splendid creature. It's orange, brown legs moved rapidly as it circled unnaturally in your palm. Dark metallic green stripes ran down it's back and shone in the candle light.

Your heart fluttered when he gave you a humbled smile. He never seemed to pay you much mind when you read aloud from the entomology books in the library. You wondered how he knew about the illusive creature.

"How did you know?" Your heart thumped harder in your chest at the thought that he cared. You carefully placed the duskflame in a glass jar.

"I take an interest in the peculiar, sister... And I don't think I will ever understand why someone so beautiful obsesses over creatures so fickle and ofttimes vile." He approached you with a confidence you had never seen in him.

He took your chin in his cold fingers and lifted your face to his. His other hand gripped at your waist and brought you closer. His chest rose and fell into your own with heavy breaths. Your lips just inches from his. A panicked breath escaped you when he tenderly caressed your lips with his fingers.

"Ae... Aemond?" Your eyelids grew heavy as your head rolled back. A sweet, throbbing sensation pulsed between your legs and you felt your undergarments dampen.

You reluctantly pushed some distance between the two of you. What would your family think when the Maesters inspect you to find your Maidenhead broken.

"Aemond we can't. The Maesters... They'll know and they'll tell mother. It would bring shame."

"Gold dragons can be very persuasive, sister. Even Maesters have need for coin. For you, I'll make them an offer so grand they can't resist." He yanked you closer and you reached your hands up to rest on his shoulders. He lifted your skirts and wedged his thigh between your legs. You straddled his leg and rubbed your folds up and down leaving damp streaks on his leather.

A moan escaped your lips when he picked you up and pinned your back against the wall. Your legs wrapped around him and you felt a bulge swell in his pants against your wetness. He fought with the front lace of your corset between kisses. Your firm tipped breasts bounced out. An uncontrollable adoration flickered in his eye and he licked his lips. He cupped them gently and ran his thumbs over your nipples. He took one in his mouth and sucked, sending you reeling.

You threw your head back in bliss as blood pumped from your centre to between your legs. You gripped at his silky hair, holding him close, never wanting this to end. Then...

There was a knock at the door. Aemond pulled away from you and pushed down at the bulge in his pants. You rushed to tuck your breasts back in your dress and re-lace your corset. After you both caught your breath and all seemed normal, you sat with a brooding Aemond at your vanity and began to brush his recently tangled hair.

"Yes, who is it?" You addressed your royal guard.

"Princess, the Dowager Queen Alicent."

"Come in mother."

The Queen swept gracefully around the corner, her eyes widened when she saw Aemond.

"What are you doing here Aemond?" She asked.

Your brother looked back at you in the reflection of the looking glass, his eye twitched half shut in thought.

"He completed my collection mother. The duskflame, would you like to see it?" You finished brushing Aemonds hair and tied his signature knot at the back.

The Queen followed you to your collection, her lip curled up at the assortment of insects and spiders before her.

"It's the green one, isn't it beautiful?" You pointed at the multi-legged creature that was spinning peculiarly in a circle, seemingly endless.

"I've never seen anything like it before, Helaena. Very impressive."

You sensed a condescension, or was it sarcasm in her voice before she turned to another subject.

"I wondered if we could talk alone Helaena." She looked over at Aemond who was glaring back at her in the mirror. His face softened when he looked at you, almost asking you if you wanted him to leave or stay.

"The hour is late Aemond. I will speak with mother alone."

He stood from the vanity and hummed a sigh in disappointment, his silky hair swaying to and fro with his stride. The door to your chambers slammed closed. He was gone and you felt more alone for it.

"Helaena, just seconds before your father died he uttered to me his wish for Aegon to inherit the realm." She grabbed your hands and tried to retain eye contact with you but your frightened eyes couldn't help but dart away.

"As you know, Aegon has not yet been successful at courting a lady to wife. Your grandsire and I, think it best if you marry him in the old tradition of your house."

You shuffled in your seat but couldn't find comfort.

"Was I not to wed J-"

The Queen cut you off.

"Things have changed my dear. You can't possibly marry Jacaerys now that Aegon is the main claimant to the throne. He needs heirs and if all goes to plan the two of you will be wed before the masses in three weeks from today." She stood and made her way to the door making hers the final say. She paused before leaving.

"I know the two of you have your differences but you will come to love each other... In time." The door closed and you were alone again.

You had some things to sleep on and the moon was almost in hiding again. You closed your eyes and finally fell asleep as the Sun broke the surface.
