It was the night in the Lake Territories and Leafpool was approaching the border with Windclan as quielty as she could. She successfully managed to sneak out of camp without alarming her Clan-mates who were still sleeping peacefully. But why would she act like this ?

Simply because the brown-and-white molly fell in love with an enemy Warrior : Crowfeather of Windclan. The two had been seeing each other for a while and thankfully no one knew of their forbidden relationship... or so they thought.

During one of their intimate moment together, they didn't know that they were watched by someone hiding in the shadows of Windclan's territory. It was a black she-cat with amber eyes known as Nightcloud who was in love for Crowfeather and was angered that her crush was loving someone else.

She had looked at the two with nothing but pure rage and fury but her furious glare was locked on Thunderclan's medicine cat's apprentice. The brown-and-white molly shouldn't have a relationship because of her duties and so was breaking the Warrior Code by meeting Crowfeather.

"How dare she ?! Crowfeather is MINE !" The Windclan she-cat snarled internally to herself as her amber eyes glared at the retreating form of Leafpool as the brown-and-white molly headed back to her own territory after the meeting.

Nightcloud wanted nothing more than to get rid of her rival in love as she knew that Crowfeather was only interested in the Thunderclan molly but she didn't know what to do to change his mind. She tried to seduce him but it didn't worked. He seemed to ignore her.

If Crowfeather was so interested in this pathetic Thunderclan scum... then what if she... An evil smirk grew on her face as she knew now how to possibly gain her crush's attention : by simply getting rid of the nuisance. But then it posed another problem : how ?

She couldn't just go in Thunderclan Camp and kill Leafpool right there and then or she would start a War between Thunderclan and Windclan. She couldn't menace the brown-and-white molly either either because Leafpool would surely tell her father , the great Leader Firestar who would do something against her.

For days, Nightcloud was thinking about how to get Leafpool out of her way without creating more tensions between the Clans once again. Then, the moment she was thinking it was hopeless, an idea grew in her head and she would kill two birds in one stone : she would get rid of her rival once and for all AND avoid a War with Thunderclan.

All she had to do now was wait for the perfect moment to strike...

Leafpool was making her way toward the borders between Windclan and Thunderclan to meet with Crowfeather once again with a joyous smile on her face. She knew what she was doing was against everything she was taught but she loved Crowfeather dearly. She was ready to give up her title as Medicine Cat's apprentice for him... And she knew he loved her back.
