Uno continued to tell Hana her story and how they met.

It already hurts for Hana to hear it but what more to the person who experienced it herself that had to remember and talk about it all over again?

Hana wanted to hate herself for forgetting and making Uno remember all of that just to tell her. But she knows it isn't her fault. She knows that none of them deserves this.

"We got in your car and I remember I fell asleep. It was the most peaceful sleep I ever had." Uno said. "When I woke up, you were beside me, holding my hand while a doctor checked me up. I was also already cleaned and clothed in a beautiful and air conditioned room."

She isn't looking at Hana anymore because of how much she's crying.

"I told you everything and then... And then you promised me." Her voice cracked as she sobbed. "You said... you will make them pay. You never told me what happened. What you did or what happened to them. Just one day... you came home and said that they've been dealt with and I will never have to worry that they'll come back to hurt me again."

Uno's hand raised from holding onto her own thighs. She held Hana's hand with her trembling hands and leaned down to press her forehead against it.

"You saved me, Miss... I owe you my life. You can forget it a million times and I will stay with you and tell you how we met for a million and one."

Hana was speechless. She doesn't know what to say or how to react.

How can something so cruel happen to a child? She couldn't believe what she just heard. She wants to reach out and hug Uno. She felt like a mother wanting to console her child.

"I'm glad... I did that." She said, fighting back her tears.

Uno smiled through her tears, "No thank you is ever enough but again, Thank you for saving me, Miss Hana."

Hana smiled, "You have a very... pretty name and face..."

"You named me, Miss." She stated. "You said your name meant the number 'One' in Korean and you believe that it gave you good luck to fight your own battles so you named me the number 'One' in Spanish too."

Hana was surprised to know that she named this girl. She saved, named, and cared for Uno. And now that she's not herself, Uno continued to care for her too.

As Uno continues to cry, she felt her heart ache.

She has no memories of this girl. The story she just told her did not open a gate of any recollection. For Hana, it's her first time to hear it but she knows that it is not the case for Uno. She had already told her this before... and she forgot.

She might have forgotten in her mind but she believed her heart did not because of how much it swells right now just seeing her tears.

After a while, Uno calmed down and wiped her tears.

"All I know is a few stories and my perspective of things ever since you took me in. So if you have questions further than that, I suggest you talk to Doctor Kyeian, Miss." She said.

The Doctor? And why would he know more about Hana than Uno? Based on what Uno had told her, she seemed to already have a pretty deep connection to her. If Doctor Kyeian knows more about her... Just who is he in Hana's life?

"Why... him?" Hana asked her.

Uno smiled, "You know each other even before I came, Miss." She answered.

Hana narrowed her eyes as she looked at her. Thinking.

"But first, you have to eat." Uno smiled as she stood up, walked to the table on the other side of the room, and continued to slice the apple.

"Did you know, Miss?" She asked. "A lot of things have happened while you were asleep."

The sound of the knife cutting through the fresh apple is clear to her ears.

"I graduated school then I started learning under Mr. Kyeian as he helped me become a nurse..." Hana can't see her face but she knows Uno speaks with a smile on her lips. "We talked about it before, Miss. I told you that I wanted to be one because I want to treat people in pain. When you got into coma, I begged him to let me work in here so I could see and take care of you. I was so happy when he agreed."

That Doctor seemed nice. I should thank him for taking care of Uno.

"Ah, right!" She turned to look at Hana. "Your friends visit you often too, Miss!" She smiled. " They were Aria, Brey, Kath, Red, Hugo, and Noah! You have a lot of friends, Miss!"

Hana perked up to the news. She was happy to hear that she's got friends that visit her often.

What Lexa said had made her doubt herself. When Lexa told her that she likes her better now, it made her think that maybe she used to be diabolical but hearing that she got friends and even helped Uno, that changed her mind.

She sat back down beside Hana and started to feed her. "They were so worried about you, Miss. They would all go here, tell you stories, pray for you, and cry a lot."

That made Hana excited to meet them. She wondered what their reaction would be once they heard she's already awake. But then she thought about what faces they would make if they figured out she doesn't remember them.

Hana doesn't want to think about it so instead, she asked Uno a question she's been wanting to know.

"What about... family?" She asked with a slight smile. Wanting to hear good news too. A person can have no friends but no one is ever without a family, right?

Hana's smile disappeared when she saw Uno's reaction.

I have a family... Right?

Uno froze. She looked hesitant, like she does not know how to answer the question. Her eyes darted from side to side, thinking hard as she gently bit her lip.

"Oh, look at the time!" She suddenly stood up, the chair making a loud screeching sound. "I have to call on Mr. Kyeian now." She said, as if in a hurry.

She cleaned everything up on the bedside table and awkwardly laughed, "He told me that he promised he'd talk to you today, right? So now that you've taken the meds and food, I'll go." She waved goodbye before rushing out of the door.

Hana still had so many questions for her but Uno looked in a hurry so she would just ask her the next time they meet.

Hana exhaled a heavy breath. Glad to know a few things already. And now, she just had to figure more out with Doctor Kyeian.
