It was later that night after the challenge, and courtney had just come back to the trailers after having lobster with Chris and chef. She sat on a bench, and soon enough, Duncan sat with her. It was silent between them. Eventually, everyone else showed up, but no one sat with the pair. After some time, once everyone else was talking, Duncan spoke up to courtney ,"So princess, you've been here a day, and you already shoved me off a pillar and kissed me? What an eventful day, " he said in the most teasing voice.

All courtney could do was roll her eyes. "Oh shut up, it was strictly strategy and will not happen again," she said while crossing her arms. And that caused Duncan to smirk and scoot closer to her. "You know if you wanna kiss me, I might let you again." Courtney rolled her eyes, but her face softened."we could never work, Duncan. We tried once, and here we are, " she said to him, and that made Duncan give her a confused look."Why couldn't we work, princess? We've done it before, " he said as he grabbed her hand in his.

Courtney sighed. "I watched the show at home, dunc. I saw you and gwen... there's something there, " Courtney said, and her head went down. Duncan cursed under his breath and took his free hand, lifted his fingers to his chin, and made her look at him "Courtney… I know what it looked like but I promise you I only have eyes for you. And there is nothing more than friendship between gwen and I. And yeah, we have things in common, but it gets old, at least with you. we are opposites, and it makes everything more interesting, " he said and chuckled.

Courtney's eyes softened, and she smirked. "The neanderthal has a heart? That's a shock." Duncan rolled his eyes at her and then smirked at her and took her hand up to his face, and kissed it. "So princess, what do you think about us? Hm? Another try? And if you wanna keep it just between us, that's fine by me." Courtneys eyes lit up and smirked. "I'd love that, but are you sure my annoying ass won't drive you away?" She said slightly, teasing him, and he shook his head while chuckling.

"Courtney, if you have an annoying ass it's mine to deal with because you're my girl always. So how about that kiss now?" He said and wriggled his eyebrow, and she chuckled and smirked."You're still not my type, you know, but maybe that's changed, " she said as her arms snaked her arms around his neck. He just smirked at her old saying as his arms creeper to her waist. "You make me sick." He teased back and crashed their lips together.

Courtney made a slight 'mm' noise due to being a bit caught off gard. They both forgot about everyone else there, but everyone knew better than to say anything about it. But of course Chris, who had to interrupt the moment by talking on his megaphone, "get a room, you two! This is total drama, not total love fest! But it could be worse! But you should've done this when we were rolling!" That made both Courtney and Duncan pull away from the kiss and roll their eyes. Courtney decided to go brush her hair, and before he walked away said "good luck, babe, you'll need it," and as she walked away, Duncan couldn't help but smirk to himself.
