Nyra stepped off the bus, her heart pounding in her chest. The familiar sights and sounds of Udaipur brought back a flood of memories-both painful and comforting. The city hadn't changed much, but she had.

She was no longer the little girl who had left in anger and confusion. She was now a young woman, determined to face her past and build her future.

As she walked through the busy streets, she couldn't help but think about the last time she was here. It had been a tearful departure, full of unresolved anger towards her father, Abhimanyu.

Now, as she made her way towards her home, she felt a mixture of nervousness and determination. She knew that confronting her past was the only way to move on.

Reaching the gates of her house, she hesitated for a moment before pushing them open. The house looked the same, yet everything felt different. She took a deep breath and stepped inside.

"Nyra!" a voice called out. It was Roohi, her cousin, who rushed towards her with open arms. "We missed you so much!"

Nyra smiled, hugging Roohi tightly. "I missed you too, Di. It's good to be back."

As they entered the living room, Nyra was greeted by her family. Neil,Aarohi,Parth and his wife Shefali, along with their children, Shivansh and Roohi, welcomed her warmly. It felt comforting, yet Nyra felt a pang of sadness and anger whenever her eyes drifted towards Abhimanyu, who was standing near the doorway, looking at her with a mix of hope and nervousness.

Abhimanyu took a hesitant step forward. "Nyra, I-"

"Not now," Nyra interrupted, her tone sharp. "I'm tired."

She could see the hurt in his eyes, but she couldn't let herself feel sorry. Not yet. She quickly made her way to her room, wanting to escape the emotions that threatened to overwhelm her.

Later that evening, as they all sat down for dinner, the atmosphere was filled with warmth and laughter. Nyra felt a sense of belonging that she hadn't felt in years. Despite her unresolved issues with Abhimanyu, being with her family again felt right.

"Nyra, how was Pune?" Neil asked, trying to steer the conversation to safer grounds.

"It was good," Nyra replied, forcing a smile. "I made some great friends and learned a lot."

"We've heard about your friends," Shefali said, her eyes twinkling. "Nihaal, Samriddhi, and Agastya, right?"

Nyra nodded, a genuine smile breaking through. "Yes, they're wonderful. We became like family."

Like this, they continue to chit-chat with each other.

---

The next morning, Nyra woke up early and decided to take a walk around the neighborhood. As she strolled through the familiar streets, memories of her childhood came flooding back.

She remembered the first time she had met Nihaal, Samriddhi, and Agastya in Pune. They had been her pillars of support during those challenging years.

Walking past the park where she used to play, she saw a group of children running around. It reminded her of the carefree days she had spent with her friends. She smiled, lost in her thoughts, wondering how they were doing now.

---

later, Nyra sat in her room, thinking about her friends in Pune. She missed them terribly but knew that coming back to Udaipur was the right decision. She needed to mend the ties with her family first before she could fully reconnect with her friends.

She just shrugged her thoughts aside and started reading a novel "Incomplete but Beautiful"

evening

she was helping Shefali in the kitchen, Shefali looked at her with a gentle smile. "How are you feeling, Nyra? It must be strange being back after so long."

Nyra nodded. "It is, but it feels right. I needed to come back and face everything. I'm just taking it one day at a time."

Shefali patted her head. "That's the best way to do it. We're all here for you, Nyra. Don't hesitate to talk to us."

---

That evening, Nyra was in her room, reading a book, when she heard a soft knock on her door. It was Abhimanyu. "May I come in?"

Nyra looked up, her expression hardening. "What do you want?"

Abhimanyu hesitated, clearly taken aback by her cold tone. "I just wanted to see how you're doing."

"I'm fine," she replied curtly, returning her attention to her book. "You don't need to check on me."

He stood there for a moment, unsure of what to say. "I just want to talk, Nyra. We need to-"

"There's nothing to talk about," Nyra cut him off, her voice cold. "Please leave me alone."

Abhimanyu sighed, defeated. "Alright, Nyra. But I'm here if you need anything."

She didn't respond, and he quietly left the room. Nyra's heart ached, but she couldn't let herself soften. Not yet.

---

Days passed slowly. Nyra spent time with her cousins and tried to avoid Abhimanyu as much as possible. She couldn't deny the pang of guilt she felt every time she saw the hurt in his eyes, but her anger and pain were still too raw.

One afternoon, as she was walking in the garden, Roohi joined her. "You seem lost in thought," Roohi said, giving her a gentle nudge.

Nyra smiled weakly. "Just trying to sort through everything."

"It's not easy, I know," Roohi said. "But we're all here for you. You're not alone."

"Thanks, Dii," Nyra said, appreciating her cousin's support. "It means a lot."

---

Meanwhile, Abhimanyu sat in his study, looking at an old photo of Akshara. Tears welled up in his eyes as he remembered the love of his life and the day he lost her. The pain was still as raw as ever, and Nyra's coldness only made it harder.

"I'm sorry, Akshu " he whispered, his voice breaking. "I've failed her. I've failed our daughter."

He buried his face in his hands, the weight of his grief and guilt overwhelming him. He had always tried to be strong for Nyra, but her rejection cut deep. All he wanted was to make things right, to heal the rift between them. But he didn't know how.

---

Days have passed, Nyra decided to finally call Agastya. She missed his voice and his presence.

"Agastya, how are you?" Nyra asked, her voice trembling slightly.

"I'm good, Nyra. I've been thinking about you a lot. How are things there?"

"It's tough," Nyra admitted. "But I'm trying to take it one day at a time."

"That's all you can do," Agastya said gently. "Remember, I'm here for you, always."

"Thanks, Agastya. I miss you," she said, feeling a bit lighter after talking to him.

"I miss you too, Nyra. Stay strong."

---

Abhimanyu sat alone in his study, his thoughts consumed by memories of Akshara and the guilt that ate him. He remembered the promise he had made to her on their wedding day-to always take care of their family but he failed.
