CHAPTER 44 - Finally Found

Warm. It was sunny...and very bright. The feeling as if I was on a cloud 9. The feeling...of being alive again. But far inside the deepest part of my heart...there was still some sadness...that I cannot get rid of.

I hope...this could last forever.

The sounds of my phone alarm can be heard in the air. And with that, I started to wiggle a bit as I was disturbed by the deafening sounds. And as I was reaching out my hands to find my phone... I feel a movement in my arm. And it got my eyes wide open when I realised...

He was here...

Nhu was here with me.

I heard him breathing as he was sound asleep. In this room of mine, he was with me...sharing the same bed as we spent the night together. And holding him throughout the whole night, was everything that I ever wanted in my life.

Kissing him and hugging him without needing to pretend felt so unreal. And when this pair of hands that was far smaller than mine was interwined with my hands, I dare to say that I could go anywhere in this world as long as I'm with Nhu. And that's how much I love him.

Staring at his face this close, he looks so ethereal. And with that I pressed my lips against his forehead for a long time as I have this one thought about him in my head...

I love him...with all my heart...and all my might.

His eyelashes flutter as he opens his eyes, blinking a few times as his first view is me smiling at him. And I swear he was the most gorgeous, adorable and ethereal when he smiled.

"Good morning sunshine~"

I said to him as I kissed him on the cheeks and I got a chuckle in return. Just looking at him smiling and laughing at me is enough to send me to the heaven that I ever dreamed about.

"Ummh..m-O-rnin-g"

My heart just softened when I heard his voice even though it was cracked. And I can't help my smile from appearing in my face again. And when his soft cherry lips landed on my cheeks, I felt something streamed down on my face.

"Zee??"

Chawarin voiced out to me as his slender finger touched my face. With a visible worry in his face, he then wiped my tears that fell from my eyes gently using his thumb. Looking at him dearly, I pulled him into my embrace and hugged him tightly.

"Hehe, I'm just... very happy na..."

I said to him as this sniffle kept going out from my lips. And Nhu kept on caressing my head, trying to calm me down. I tell you, he was the sweetest person that I ever met in my life.

"D-do-Nt cr-y nn-a..."

"Nhu..."

I called out to him again, making him to look at me with his boba eyes. And with that, I look into his eyes dearly...god...If only I told him much sooner that I love him...if I stopped being so stubborn with my feelings and just be honest from the start...Is there a chance I could feel this warmth much sooner?

"I love Nhu so much na..."

"Umh"

He let out a small chuckle, then he said that to me shortly as I fell into his embrace again. I closed my eyes...as I placed my head against his chest. With his loving touch, he caress my hair softly...and I heard his heartbeat in my ears, it's just like music to me. I'm so glad that Nhu was here by my side...and I could not deny that.
