CHAPTER 45 - It Just You & Me, Against The world

The day where they had to go back to Chiang Mai was the day where Zee came out to everyone... Telling how he was in love with Chawarin and decided to date him, even do more than that if he could.

And of course...For those that don't have any idea about Chawarin might think that this is a great thing to happen, but for someone like Zee's grandmother... Surely, she still has not approved the relationship. In fact, She was against it very much as she knows... The consequences for all this... Is his one and only grandson's life.

"Are you crazy?! Have you finally lost your senses?! That thing will kill you for sure! How come you ended up loving that disaster that cursed your life?! No..No.. You should stop this... Whatever you are doing right now, you should stop it, Zee!"

And this is exactly them... Just Zee and his grandmother, sitting across from each other in the living room of a mansion. Zee already expected this would happen anyway. Of course...whoever wants their family members to die anyway, right? And Zee totally understands why his grandma was against his idea very much...

"C'mon grandma...there must be other ways to break this matter. There must be one other way out there...We still have time and all we have to do is find it..and-"

" And then you'll surely die!"

Mrs. Ping cut Zee words making the other one stunned in his place. The disappointment in Zee's grandmother's face was so easy to tell at the moment..and on top of that, it was mixed with a hint of sadness as well.

"You will die if you try, Zee... because there is no other option! You also know that. You'll just waste your time. Snap out of it will you? You think this is a light matter? This is about your life or dead you are risking here...you think this is just a game to you?"

Her voice trembled, and her eyes started to glass. It's just a matter of time before it falls. And Zee once again got silenced in his place as he was out of words.

"Please...out of all people in this world...Why him, Zee? You could fall for Lia again...You could fall for anyone else out there but in the end, why are you falling to someone who could take your life away? I should just separate you two when I have a chance to do so-"

"And it was still my decision to stick to him grandma..."

Zee finally cuts through his grandma's words, making her look at Zee with confusion in her eyes. As if she totally didn't get Zee at all...or why he chose to risk it all.

"Even if you try to separate him from me, but if it was my decision to find him...I would do so. Even if I know that I will soon die because of him, but if it was my decision to stay with him...to love him...Then I would do so...and no one can come between us-"

And when Zee let out those words to his grandma, she bit the bottom of her lips while Zee had this kind of expression on his face, Which said 'I still stand with my decision.

"-Nor anyone... could change my mind"

"Do you care about him that much?...more than you care about me?? I was your one and only family...and you are my one and only grandson that I have...and you really think I'm just gonna stay put and do nothing? And just let you die?"

She pressed every word that she said to Zee, with the visible tone of disappointment in her voice. She looks into Zee's eyes, trying to snap his grandson out of his ridiculous choice. But it was all in vain as all that she could see in those eyes just... Not the same as before.

"I just want the best for you, Zee..."

She once again tries to convince Zee.

"You wanted the best for me? Then you should just agree with my decision...You know better than anyone else that I am the happiest that I could ever be in my life right now..."
