Know one thing, before I address this issue. English is not my mother or father's language.

Yes, I make mistakes too in my stories. Just like any other writer. However, there are different kinds of mistakes. Grammar-wise, like how to spell a word properly. How to use diacritics. Content-wise, like when characters are out of character. When the anime doesn't correspond with your story. That would be an Altered Universe. Everything will be discussed.

Furthermore, I have a few tips. Maybe you've heard of it. Maybe you're using it already. But if you don't, consider using it. I am and it improved my stories. Correction, it still improves my writing.

I use Grammarly to find mistakes that I overlooked and to correct diacritics. For instance, how and where the comma belongs. Or any other punctuation. If you want to use it, there's a free version and easy to download. I find myself looking at wrong-typed words sometimes, and I look down at my keyboard to check if the letters are next to each other. If so, then your finger pressed the wrong letter by mistake. Still, use a checking program or something. Simply because these small mistakes can be fixed and should be fixed.

The other one is Thesaurus. Did you ever read your own story and found a few words that you've used over and over again? Ever thought of using different synonyms? To use the same type but in a different way instead of repeating that one word. The Thesaurus website can provide you with enough synonyms to give your story more variety. At the same time, it also increases your vocabulary. I call that a win. Additionally, if you decide to use this website, don't forget to subscribe to "word of the day". Useful and you learn new words.

Another piece of advice, I want to give you is to use translation websites, in case English is not your mother or father language. Now, we're lucky since most movies and series are in English, and they teach you this at school. After all, English is a world language.

One last thing I like to point out is that I will use examples coming from my own imagination so I don't offend anyone. If it happens that you used something from said example, it is a coincidence.

Now let's get this started.
