Tadeas looked around from the floor for a few moments, then quickly got up and rushed to Ava. He unlocked her cuffs and let her remove her own gag.
"We don't know if the cartel members will still fight us, so we'd better hurry," Ava said.
"I don't have a lot of magic left, so I think you should release Husani and Satiya," Tadeas explained. "I can get the Archangel."
Ava nodded and set about releasing Husani while Tadeas jogged over to the cage. He unlocked the door, rolled the Archangel to his front from where he fell on the floor, and unlocked his hands. Greg got to his feet and pulled the tape off his mouth.
"Who are you all?! What was that?! What's going on here?!"
"Later!" Tadeas hissed. "There might still be humans around who are hostile. Gotta get out first."
They walked quickly back to Ava, who had released the other Angels and laid them on the floor, as they were still unconscious.
"They should wake up soon, but I don't know if we can wait," Ava said.
"Do you think you can wake them?" Tadeas asked.
"That's more of Husani's thing, but I can try..."
Ava placed her hand on the bronze-skinned Angel's forehead and said, "Haltra." After a few moments, his eyes flickered open. He quickly took everything in, rolled over and got to his feet.
"T'izhin?" he asked.
"Gone," Tadeas replied. "But we don't know if the cartel will be happy. Or if they are even around."
"Will you wake Satiya?" Ava asked. "You're better at that sort of thing."
Husani nodded and bent over the black-winged Angel. He whispered a spell and after a moment, Satiya's eyes opened. She rolled over and got to her feet as well, looking around. She spotted the extra Angel.
"You are Greg? Gannigan Aerie's Archangel?" she asked him.
"Yes. Who-" he started.
"Can we worry about explanations and introductions later?!" Tadeas interrupted.
Satiya was surprised, even though he was right, "What's wrong, Tadeas?"
The Draik looked away, and after a moment replied, "I don't like gangs, okay?"
"Problem is," Husani steered the topic, "we don't know which way to go to get out of here."
"Should be an elevator nearby. Down a short hall," Ava added.
"That wall doesn't look like it has any halls coming off of it, at least over here," Satiya pointed to their right where the cage was located. "Let's go down the left side of the room."
They walked quickly and quietly through the huge room, hugging the lefthand side. They peered down any hallways they came across, but most were obviously very long, or had doors. They couldn't guarantee there wasn't a door that Nate just hadn't noticed, but they decided to start looking for one without and if they didn't find one, they could go back around.
As they were walking, Greg asked Husani, softly, "She said his name was Tadeas? Tadeas, as in the Primary Archangel?"
Husani nodded, "Yep."
There was a heavy pause from the Archangel.
"He only learned he was the Primary Archangel last year. He didn't even know what magic was or what a Draik was. He had been captured by one of the same things that took you, and we rescued him, but then Satiya and I were captured. He and Ava destroyed it themselves. He has a lot to learn, and he is still very young, but he is a fine Primary Archangel."
