Forcefully Included in the Story

U-um miss me?

"Leonia Boleoti."

The child's mouth widens.

"It's too long!"

"Leonia is your name idiot."

"I'm not an idiot!" The child, now Leonia, shouts enraged.

"I must call in an etiquette teacher once we are home."

Duke Phileo scoops Leonia in hands and carries her to the carriage while she fidgets around.

"I'm not leaving without saying goodbye!" Leonia shouts.

"Goodbye? Then say it."

"Lyn is not here yet!"

"Who?"

"My oppa!"   

"NIA!!!" A voice calls. "Nia! Oppa has nice bread! If Nia comes out, oppa will share with you!"

"Oppa over here!"

Leonia waves her small hands to the boy running through the bushes.

Silver hair boy runs onto the scene. His golden eyes searches for the girl only to meet 4 familiar black eyes.

His expression turns from worry to anxious. His round eyes meets the Duke's harden ones.

Phileo concentrates on the boy's body.

Though surprised, he can't ignore the deep wounds wrapping around his exposed limbs.

Bruises decorate the child's once smooth cheeks and his blood stained, ripped clothes didn't help his pitiful appearance.

"Adlyn oppa!"

Leonia's sweet call interrupts the staring contest between the males.

"We are sorry! That child is promised to be adopted tomorrow so we didn't show him to Your Grace."

The dean bows his head as sweat pours down his face from the Duke's heated glare.

"Promised?"

Phileo's voice is calm but it holds deep resentment to the orphanage staff. He places Leonia in the carriage before he grabs the boy and toss him in. He screams in fake pain as he landed on the soft seat.

Everyone watches in shock.

“Y-Your excellency!”

Rupert clings onto the carriage handle.

Phileo, who is often referred to as the black beast, presses his index on the boy’s forehead and laughing.

“You old man!”

Getting mad, Adlyn glares at Phileo.

“Do you enjoy making fun of kids?”

“It’s more enjoyable than I expected.”

“Mister must be a pervert!” Leonia jeers. Adlyn nods in agreement.
