Rupert finally hears the truth from the head butler, Cara.

Cara nods as she fixes her glasses. She tells him to quiet down.

Thankfully, there were only the two of them inside the meeting room next to Phileo's office.

Phileo has gone down to the cellar, while Leonia and Adlyn have returned to their rooms with Meleis.

So Cara tells Rupert about Leonia, just as Phileo ordered.

"Oh my goodness."

Rupert rubs his forehead for quite some time, realizing that his assumptions are all wrong.

It wasn't too unusual for people unrelated to each other to be similar in some ways, the prince and the Duke for instance. However, the two are definitely too similar to be strangers, even if it was just a mere coincidence.

Adlyn disinterestedly bade his farewell to the guests after finishing things up.

"It was terrible knowing you, let's never meet again. Go rot in hell."

Instead of waving her hands, Leonia raised her middle finger high up in the air.

Despair filled the guests' faces as the knights escorted them down to the mansion's cellar.

In case they tried to take their own lives, the knights also had their mouths gagged.

After saying their goodbyes, Leonia took her music box and the children darted to cuddle in Phileo's arms.

"Gosh, that felt good, right Oppa?"

"Yeah, wow, that's refreshing. It like all the stress from the decade has all washed away to nothing!"

Adlyn massaged his shoulders with a radiant smile plastered on his face.

"You're only 7 though?"

"It's a hyperbole. Do you not know the figures of speech Duke?"

"Don't take it too literally, Mister."

She scolded him for not understanding the saying. Then, out of nowhere, Phileo handed the children strawberry milk candies and a black diamond cufflinks (for Adlyn).

Leonia and Adlyn looked at him in confusion upon seeing the candy and jewelry.

"I didn't do anything cute/sweet today though?"

"You did."

"You mean what we did earlier? Torturing the orphanage teachers?"

Adlyn asked.

"You behaved like a true Boleoti."

Leonia covered her face in embarrassment at the unexpected compliment. Adlyn stayed frozen for a moment before raising the cufflinks back to Phileo.

"Duke what I did was simply the right thing to do. This is too much for me as it's worth a fortune. I don't need a reward for something I was previously investigating."

Phileo's eyes widened a fraction before he smiles softly.

"Keep it. A prince wouldn't personally investigate such matters. You handled it like a true Boleoti, a true prince of the empire."

Adlyn covered his blushing cheeks at his words.

"It's too expensive!"
