"Grayson?" Lieta came over towards me. I was leaning against the balcony railing of our room and it was early morning.

For hours I had been trying to find something in the house which would help us, after waking up. Even though I was tired, the nightmare which had plagued my brain was stronger than the urge to sleep, so I had just gone off to find clues.

"You should be sleeping." I reminded her, though she just looked up at me confused.

"Love, you're the one out here." She sighed and wrapped her arm around my own.

"I know." I sighed and felt her lean against my shoulder. Her breathing calmed me, looking down I watched her hair lightly flow in the wind.

"Do you want to tell me why you're out here?" Her eyes darted to mine and looked up at me.

"Not particularly." I met her eyes. Lieta huffed and let go of my arm, wrapping her arms around my torso. I lifted my arm up and wrapped it around her shoulders.

"You don't have to, just know if it would help, you can tell me." Lieta smiled. I looked down and thought for a moment.

"I had a nightmare." I stated and gripped the railing tightly.

Admitting to not being invincible to small things was not normal for me. Telling Lieta that I had a nightmare, was like admitting defeat. It was admitting to the fact that I couldn't do anything about what was happening and it was admitting that I couldn't control something. The feeling was unfamiliar. Grayson Hawthorne controlled everything. He knew what was happening. He was always detailed, nothing was not under his control. Everything was planned and precise.

"Thank you for telling me." Lieta squeezed her arms around me. I sighed and pulled her around to the front of my torso. She nuzzled into my shirt and I held her tightly between my arms.

"I don't want you to hear the rest."

"It won't hurt me, Grayson." Lieta said, her voice muffled by the fabric of my shirt.

"But-"
"If you want to tell me you can." Lieta looked at me. I thought about it for a moment, as I tried to calm myself by concentrating on my breathing.

"She was...back on the cliff. But this time it wasn't Jamie who watched her gasp." I explained. Lieta sighed and looked up at me.

"It was you?" She questioned, though she already knew the answer.

"I couldn't do anything. There was an invisible wall, I couldn't get to her." I continued. Lieta didn't say anything, though her arms tightening around me told me she was still there.

"That's terrible, Gray." Lieta kissed my forehead, after standing on her tiptoes to reach me.

"I watched her face go blank." I choked out. Lieta nodded in understanding.

"Want to go and sit on the bed?" She questioned. I shook my head, as she sighed.

"Alright, come on, sit down." She pulled my hand downwards, as she sat onto the balcony floor. I followed suit and sat opposite her.

I took a deep breath and let it out. Lieta didn't say anything for the next ten minutes, as I just sat there controlling my breathing. I felt dizzy from the lack of sleep I had been getting for days now and light nausea had accompanied the headache a couple days ago.
