"Grayson!" I rushed after my boyfriend, as we made our way through the house. He turned a corner and decided to take a shortcut through the kitchen, where Libby and Nash were sitting.
"Grayson!" I rushed, though his strides were longer and he quickly disappeared through the next door, as Nash held me back.
"What's going on, darlin'?" He questioned, sitting up higher. A sound, which sounded more choked than anything escaped me, as the tall man pulled me into his chest.
"It's-," I started, though choked on another sob.
"Calm down, Li. What's up?" he questioned again, making me shake my head.
"The interview was terrible. Someone- I don't know. They got a recording of me.." I trailed off and fisted Nash's T-shirt in my right hand.
"Recording?" Libby asked quietly from my side. I hadn't realised she had made her way to my side, with Nash still holding me tightly.
Gentle strokes went through my hair, helping me calm down. The kitchen's dim lights helped calm my mind, though my sobs wouldn't stop leaving me.
"My voice. They somehow recorded my conversation with Alisa a little while ago." I elaborated and took a deep breath.
Libby looked up towards Nash, who seemed to be more aware of his surroundings now. Clearly thinking of what he would do if someone was listening in now.
"What was it about?" Libby questioned softly, now joining Nash in stroking through my hair.
"Oh it was terrible." I choked out remembering the interview I had just dealt with.
"Grayson,", I continued, "it was about Grayson. We were on about Alisa's date but none of that was played. They only played the few minutes where I was on about how I had had doubts about my relationship with him."
"Oh, honey." Libby grimaced and pulled a stray hair from my face.
"They didn't play anything from when I said I loved him to pieces or how I was lucky to have him. Grayson doesn't know that I said anything positive. They asked for him to comment on it and he just stood up and left." I felt the tears roll down my face, as Nash pulled a tissue from the tissue box on the counter.
"Let's calm you down first, then you can go and sort it out." Nash pulled me towards a seat and helped me sit down.
"Let's take these off." Libby pulled the heels off of my feet and only then did I realise my feet had been killing me. How I had managed to run after Grayson was a mystery to me.
"Tea or coffee?" She smiled encouragingly, making me feel more comfortable.
"Tea, please." Libby only nodded and headed towards the kettle, filling it with water and turning it on.
The door to the kitchen opened, as my heartbeat stopped for a moment, till I realised it was only Jameson and Avery coming inside.
"Have you two seen-" Jameson questioned though, abruptly stopped once spotting me.
"God, you look terrible." Avery stated and made her way towards me.
"You're not helping." Libby told her sternly, though I just let out a small laugh.
"Why were you looking for me?" I asked carefully, though already knew why they had most likely tried to find Grayson and me.
"Interviews online." Jameson explained and held up his phone.
"Couldn't wait five minutes, could they?" I questioned upset, as they looked away awkwardly.
"Where's Grayson?" Avery asked softly, making me want to go into a fit of sobs again.
