At the theatre

Part 3

Emerald walked to the theatre Booth to buy a ticket. With the look of things, the show is almost about to begin.
" Late again ", she muttered to herself.
" You're lucky there's only one ticket ", the man selling the tickets told her as he handled her the ticket. She took a sigh of relief, paid then hurried away.
As she walked through the theatre aisle, she heard her name.
" Emer ," it was Zarin's voice.
He was sitting with Gabi and Zain and beside him was an empty seat.
" I reserved a seat for you ", he said.
" Thank you ", she smiled then sat down. He was fond of reserving seat for her whenever she arrives late in the theatre.
He took her hand into his then squeezed it gently while she rested her head on his shoulder making him to smile. Zarin was the guy after her heart.She never knew someone could steal her heart so far untill he came into her life.
" Why did you arrive late? ", Gabi asked Emerald. She's always concerned about her which Emerald finds surprising because they aren't close.
" I weaved my hair before coming ", she answered blankly.
Just then, the show began. It was a singing performance. A lady dressed in a creamy long dress was singing. Her voice was extraordinary.
No one loves singing performance than Emerald. Singing is her hobby and she can't stop doing it. At times, she'll be carried away by singing in the shower almost forgetting she have to be in school on time.
They watched the show excitedly. The singer on stage really marveled the audience with her pretty voice and the slow, love song.
Shortly the show was over. The audience scrambled for their exit, chattering on their way.
" Do you want to eat anything ? ", Zarin asked Emerald who only nodded like a baby.
They made sure they inform Zain and Gabi before leaving so they won't be worried about them. Outside, the moon was already out. The weren't surprised. Evening show normally end by eight.
" There's no need to ask you if you enjoyed the show because it's your favorite ", he said smiling at her.
" Of course it is ", She smiled back.
They walked to popcorn stall near the theatre. Emerald loves eating Mrs Crabstree popcorn. They're usually sweet and milky.
They also made sure they bought for Zain and Gabi as promised.
" Would you like to have some beef steak ?", he asked her.
Beef steak! , How she loves beef steak.
" Yes ".
After buying, they walked slowly as they chatted.
" Sing for me ", Zarin requested.
" Nope ", she grinned.
" Please ", he insisted.
She always enjoy it whenever he plead for something.
" Emer please ", his voice was melting her.
"Which song ?".
" The normal song ", he stared at her now they paused their movement.
" Why not sing it for me ?", she smiled twisting her lips in a playful manner.
He stared at her steadily before pulling her into his arms, pressed his lips on hers then kissed her hungrily...
