After Kenan and Kiera finished up, we all made our way to Kenan's car. Kenan opened the passenger door for Kiera, while Arda opened the back door for me. Kiera and I smiled at each other, appreciating the boys' actions before getting into the car.
Once we were all settled, Kenan started the engine, and low-volume music filled the car. Kiera sat in the passenger seat next to Kenan, and Arda and I took the backseat.
The car ride was filled with a comfortable silence, punctuated by the occasional glance between Kenan and Kiera. It was amusing how obvious their attraction was, and I could tell Arda noticed it too.
"Hey, Kenan," Arda joked, "keep your eyes on the road."
Kenan chuckled, shaking his head slightly but not denying the comment. As we drove along the coast, I gazed out of the window, mesmerized by the stunning view of the bluest skies and water. The beauty of it all made my thoughts drift to Arda.
Curiosity got the better of me, and I slowly turned to look at him. To my surprise, I found his eyes already on me. For a moment, he looked shocked, as if he had been caught staring at the most beautiful thing in the world. I felt a flutter in my chest and quickly pushed the thought down. I noticed Arda's cheeks redden, and he cleared his throat, looking away flustered.
Unbeknownst to us, Kenan had seen the entire interaction through the rearview mirror. He smiled to himself, watching the scene unfold. It was clear that he found the situation amusing and endearing, though Arda and I remained oblivious to his observations.
We continued our journey along the picturesque coast, the car filled with a mix of excitement and anticipation for the day's adventures.
We arrived at the beach, the sun shining brightly, and the sound of waves crashing gently against the shore. Once out of the car, we all headed to the bathroom to get changed—Kiera and I together, and Arda and Kenan together.
In the bathroom, Kiera and I quickly changed into our swimsuits. As we stood by the sink, Kiera began fixing her hair and touching up her makeup. I couldn’t help but tease her.
"Oh, who are you trying to impress, hmm?" I asked with a playful smile.
Kiera got all flustered and tried to brush it off. "Oh, c'mon," she said, but I wasn’t letting it go that easily.
"Oh, you really like my brother of all people," I said, watching her reaction closely.
Suddenly, she blushed deeply and looked at me with a hint of worry. "Is that okay that I may like your brother?"
I laughed softly. "You are kidding me, right?" Kiera tensed up, so I continued, "I knew you two were going to end up together when we were all young. I see the way you two look at each other. How can I stop that?"
Kiera sighed, still blushing. "Hey, me and Kenan are not together."
"Not yet, you aren't," I teased, then turned to the mirror to apply some lip gloss. I wanted to play in the water, and I didn’t want my makeup ruined.
Kiera watched me through the mirror. "Well, who are you applying the lip gloss for?"
Her question made me blush hard, and I felt flustered. "Oh, stop it!" I said, pushing her out of the bathroom playfully.
As we stepped outside, we were met by Kenan and Arda. Kenan noticed my flushed cheeks immediately. "Why are you blushing?" he asked, his curiosity piqued.
"Nothing," I said quickly, trying to sound casual.
Kenan and Arda exchanged a knowing look. Arda smiled, and Kenan smirked, giving Arda a light shove. Kenan then turned to Kiera. "So, what just happened?"
Kiera laughed and replied, "I'll tell you later," leaving me and Arda standing there, feeling a mix of nervousness and shyness. We glanced at each other, and I could feel my heart racing as we stood in the warm sun, the excitement of the beach day ahead mingling with the fluttering feelings between us.
// no one's Pov Before they all meet up outside of the bathroom
Arda and Kenan headed to the bathroom to change into their swimming suits. After changing, Arda stood at the sink, washing his hands. When he noticed Kenan approaching the sink, he tensed up and acted a bit awkward. Kenan, sensing the tension, decided to address it.
"Hey, Arda, you don't have to be awkward around me now, you know that, right?" Kenan said, breaking the ice.
Arda responded nervously, "What? Why would I be acting awkward around you?" He heard the awkwardness in his own voice and winced.
Kenan chuckled. "I'm not oblivious. I can tell something is happening between you and my sister."
Arda tensed up and started to apologize. "Kenan, I—"
Kenan cut him off. "Chill, Arda. I've known you for many years. I know you don't have any bad intentions. And from the way my sister looks at you and blushes, even if I tried to separate you, she would probably kill me." He teased, lightening the mood.
Arda smiled and smirked, realizing he could tease Kenan back. "Yeah, she probably would."
Seeing the opportunity, Arda asked, "So, is it the same situation with Kiera then?"
Kenan responded quickly, "What?"
Arda explained, "Everyone can notice the small glances and how close you and Kiera are."
Kenan quickly changed the subject. "Well, don't forget I saw that whole spectacle in the car earlier with you and my sister."
Arda knew he had lost the teasing battle. Kenan looked at him seriously. "You better take care of her, though. You know that, right?"
Arda nodded. "Yeah, I will. She deserves it."
Kenan teased Arda one more time. "And by the way, everyone can notice when she blushes and gets flustered by you, Arda. It's not a secret between the two of you."
Arda laughed, feeling a mix of relief and excitement as they finished up and headed back to join the others.
