Intensive training is not it.

--Chapter 3--

___________________________

Out of thirteen bruises, somehow, all thirteen of them hurt.

If he were to faint, it would likely be due to the pain, rather than the heat.

Kenma sat on the ground, breathless. He watched as everyone else ran past him. They did not want the punishment of resting. It was far worse than the training, but Kenma couldn't do it. He'd rather shoot and never get tired of it.

"What do you think you're doing?" Kuroo asked. In this videogame(reality), this guy was the big bad villain. "You really do want to fight me, don't you?"

"Ah, no," Kenma murmured. Kuroo smirked, "Why? You think you can beat me?" Kenma shook his head, "I just don't think fighting you is worth it."
"Oof!" Shoyou exclaimed as he ran past.

Kenma definitely got on Kuroo's bad side on the first day. This man was literally railing him.[*Smirks in gay*] "If you want to talk back like that, just fight me then," Kuroo challenged.

"Kuro, take it easy," Bokuto said, as he ran closer. "You should get up and run, Kozume-kun," he said. "Call me Kenma, and give me fifty seconds, I'll run," he said. "No can do, you can either take a rest now or run for another thirty minutes," Bokuto demanded.

Kenma sighed and got back up. "Fine," and muttered a couple of swear words. "This Bit-" Kuroo muttered under his breath. "What the fuck do you think you're doing? You're letting him off just like that?" Kuroo asked.

"Just leave him alone," Bokuto demanded.

*THIRTY MINUTES LATER*

"Alright! Let's switch positions! Group three, run and group four can do shooting. For today, use a pistol and in two more days, we'll go to the arsenal to choose our guns," Bokuto ordered. "Okay go!" he pointed to the shooting room for group four.

Kenma was currently under a shed, getting his bruises bandaged. "Okay, Kenma-san, we're done dressing your wound, so you can get going now," said this green-haired man who cured him on the first day of work. His name was Tadashi Yamaguchi, if he wasn't wrong.

"No need for the formalities. Thanks," Kenma said and left for shooting practice.

If there was one thing he was confident in, it was shooting. Kenma would consider himself a god in shooting. That's why, to everyone around him, he looked so damn cool, with his silencer headphones as he got every bullet through the bull's eye.

"That's so cool!" Said the same short-haired tangerine guy that was very inviting to him on the first day. His name was...Hinata something. Kenma probably looked puzzled, because this guy immediately told his name, "Hinata Shoyou, in case you don't know."

"Oh, okay," Kenma murmured. "It's so cool how you get every bullet through the bull's eye! It's so similar to how Tobio does it!" Shoyou exclaimed. "Ah, Tobio Kageyama, you know that guy with patted-down black hair? Rude ass blue eyes?" He asked to make sure Kenma knew him.

"Right, yeah," Kenma said. He didn't have to say much when he eyed Shoyou's silencer headphones. Shoyou immediately knew he was asking him to put it on. "Ah, this? I don't need it. I had training for this since I was a kid. My dad's part of the military so I can handle loud sounds," He said.

Not like Kenma cared enough about this guy's eardrums. So, he took the lead and kept shooting directly at the point until he ran out of bullets.

"How do you do it? Are you thinking of killing someone or protecting someone or what?" Shoyou asked. Kenma shook his head, "I'm not that cool," he murmured. "I just think of it as a game. It's easy that way."

"I think that's pretty cool too!" Shoyou said. He probably got the look of Kenma's awkward face, "Sorry. I know I'm talking too much. It's just that, none of my friends are in my batch and nobody in this batch likes to slack off except Oikawa-san," He apologized. Kenma just nodded.

---A few hours later---

"Okay everyone, we're wrapping up! Let's go sleep!!" Bokuto exclaimed and hooked onto a couple of the other members. Everyone was so exhausted that they didn't even want to shower but go to sleep.

For the rest of their training period, they were all going to be staying in "TGL's" Barracks. Somewhat like a military sleeping quarter.

And Kenma was not up for it.

There were a million things he regretted coming here on, but this might be the worst thing ever. He loved sleeping alone, in his cozy, airconditioned room with several plushies to hug, and looking at the beds in this barrack, they looked like they were made of steel.

Nevertheless, he took a shower(He was probably the only one who did) before he laid down on the bed. It was just as he imagined, the bed was trash and did not help with the immense leg pain he felt.

So, he decided to get out of there, go out into the chilly breeze, and post a YouTube short live.

The chat was filled with numerous comments, asking him how he was holding up at the Labyrinth.

"Oh it's fucking trash," Kenma said, causing the comments to fill up with the funny emoji or worried messages. "Had to run thirty laps today. And it was a three hundred fifty meter ground. But I was the best in my batch in shooting."

The comments gave him good luck messages and told him how obvious it was for him to be top in his batch.

As Kenma chatted with his viewers, heavy footsteps came from behind him. As he turned to look, the man had already pulled the phone from him. He cut the live. "What the-" Kenma stopped talking when he learned it was Kuroo.

"What?" Kuroo asked him. "Why'd you cut my live?" Kenma murmured. "Look, if content is why you're here, feel free to leave. But as long as you stay, you can't just talk about the Labyrinth on social media. Are you trying to get us all killed?" He asked.

"A couple of YouTube videos won't kill us," Kenma retorted. "Can I have my phone back?" he asked. "Do you want our enemies to find us? Instead, you can just go tell them our plans. That would be much better!" Kuroo said with a sense of sarcasm and attitude. "Your fucking YouTube videos are gonna push us down a drain."

Kenma sighed. He hated arguing with people. "Just give me my phone back. I'll go sleep," he said. He snatched his phone from Kuroo's hand and went straight back to the "back pain" bed.

Kenma didn't give a shit though, because he instantly put up a post, apologizing for the fact his live got cut off.

And once that was done, he tried to sleep and slept after two hours of tossing and turning.
