"Guys please, can we not yell at each other while we eat?" (Name) spoke in soothing tones to try to calm Lady Maizuru down while Benichidori and Hien nodded in agreement.
Lady Maizuru's annoyed sigh was apology enough as she slumped back into her seat.
"Asebi, please just use the chopsticks. If not just use a spoon."
"Whatever.."
Our meals were always cooked by Maizuru.
Simple eastern dishes mostly rice, noodles, soy, seafood, and vegetables are common in our village.

She did this in order to look human, to fit in.

Though besides her polite demeanour, she felt a stinge of awkwardness in social situations.
