Now there were three parties; Toshiro's party (but also [name's] party), Kabru's party and...
of course, Laios' party.

There was a lot of catching up to do, as they hadn't seen each other in years.

The atmosphere was warm and comfortable, filled with lively conversations in various groups, and the wonderful food made the reunion even more special (even after they threatened to kill Laios and his party.)

It was nice and it had been a while since [name] had enjoyed a meal with her friends and family, especially with her childhood friend.

"Oh, and this is ground cockatrice meat with some dryad fruit; you should definitely give it a try! Just make sure you avoid eating the brick.." Laios says with flushed cheeks. Enthusiastically urged his friend to taste the food Senshi had prepared.

[Name] noticed with a mix of amusement and concern that he had eaten the brick.

"I'll make sure not to." she says, a teasing smile playing on her lips.
"You haven't changed Laios."

"Really?" he asks, looking at her with a confused expression.

"I'm not saying it's a bad thing!"
[Name] says, waving her hands awkwardly in defense.
"It just... reminds me of when we were kids— when you used to tell me all those facts about monsters. You know, in a good way!" she said nervously, anxious that he might've misunderstood her intentions, while memories of Laios and their discussions about their favourite monster began to fill [name's] head.

"I still have that book you gave me all those years ago, and I still read it. It's surprisingly useful." she says with a nostalgic smile.

"Seriously?? You do?"
Laios exclaimed, feeling his heart skip a beat as a wave of nostalgia washed over him.

"Yeah... I've probably memorized most of the plant monsters by now, haha,"
[name] says with an awkward laugh, taking a spoonful of cockatrice meat.

Laios felt a warm, unfamiliar sensation in his chest. Maybe it was just simple admiration; he couldn't quite tell.

He watches her munch on the food, waiting for her response with a mix of anticipation and curiosity. Laios was still surprised that [name] had kept the book he had given her when they were kids.

"Wow this is really good!" she says, her eyes lighting up with genuine delight.

"I'm really glad you liked it."
Laios said with a warm smile.

"You know, [name], you haven't changed a bit either."

"What do you mean? Are you saying I'm still the same awkward and quiet kid?" she asks with a playful smile.

Laios struggled to find the right words, and before he knew it, he had blurted out, "I still think you're beautiful."

[Name's] face flushed with warmth as she heard the compliment and replied,
"Thank you."
