My shadow friend is following me,
He always teases me - you're lazy!
It keeps creeping into my head
He says how boring I am
He reminds me of my past sins
I see how he love being close to me
Sadness creeps onto my face
He tells me meanly - why do you keep crying?
I defend myself against him with all my remaining strength,
I make promises I won’t fail,
I know he will go away,
But then there will be only darkness.
