My thoughts are running around
Once full of love
Today they are restless
In my mind's eye I see us
Once full of passion
Today is full of empty feelings
Feelings wanting to be something
Feelings wanting to become a thing of the past, in the future
Feelings wanting to feel
But the inner fire went out,
leaving behind the black dust
of ancient years.
