Nashi moved quietly around the room, helping Jude, Mavis, and the twins, Luna and Igneel, prepare for bed. The children, each in their own world of magic and wonder, were finally starting to settle down. As Nashi tucked the last of the blankets around the twins, she sighed in relief.

"Finally," she whispered, glancing over her shoulder at the two small figures now asleep.

In the living room, Liddan and Layla were surrounded by a clutter of old books, remnants of their parents' extensive collection. They were searching for anything that might give them clues about the God Slayers.

Hearing Nashi's footsteps, Liddan looked up and grinned. "The four demons are finally asleep?"

Layla chuckled. "I thought they'd never settle down."

Just then, a knock echoed through the house. Nashi frowned, wondering who could be visiting at this hour. She opened the door to find Sylvie and Gideon standing there with their younger brother, Storm.

"Sylvie, Gideon, what are you doing here?" Nashi asked, her confusion evident.

Sylvie gave a small smile. "We thought it wouldn't be good for a house full of dragon slayers to be left alone."

Storm, already looking around curiously, asked, "Where's Jude?"

Nashi pointed down the hall. "He's in his room. You can join him if you like."

Storm didn't need to be told twice. He darted off towards Jude's room, leaving Sylvie and Gideon to enter the Dragneel house. Nashi turned to Liddan and Layla.

"You two should head to bed. It's getting late."

Liddan and Layla reluctantly agreed, gathering their books and heading off to their rooms. The house gradually fell into silence as the night wore on. Hours later, Nashi found herself unable to sleep. She carefully slipped out of bed, trying not to wake Sylvie, and made her way downstairs to get a glass of water.

To her surprise, she found Gideon sitting on the couch, staring into the darkness.

"Couldn't sleep?" she asked, pouring herself some water.

Gideon chuckled softly. "You could say that. Or maybe the house is just too hot for an ice wizard."

Nashi smiled and walked over to join him on the couch. She took a deep breath, trying to steady her thoughts. "I'm scared, Gideon. I know my parents are strong, and my dad is basically a dragon slayer king, but... I can't stop worrying."

Her voice trembled, and the tears she had been holding back finally started to fall. "I don't know how I'm going to take care of my siblings without my Mom and Dad."

Gideon pulled her into a comforting hug. "Nashi, you're doing a great job. Your mom is the most powerful celestial wizard I know, and your dad is the son of the dragon king. They'll find a way back to us."

He gently pulled away and wiped the tears from her face. "Besides, a dragon slayer princess like you? That's pretty cute."

Nashi's cheeks turned a deep shade of red at Gideon's comment. "Idiot," she mumbled, trying to hide her embarrassment.

Gideon laughed softly. "I'm not lying," he said, his voice warm and sincere.

For a moment, they simply looked into each other's eyes, feeling a connection that seemed to draw them closer. They were leaning in, the space between them shrinking, when suddenly, Mavis's cries broke the spell.

"Mavis?" Nashi quickly turned to see her little sister running down the stairs, tears streaming down her face.

"Nashi! I had a nightmare about Mom and Dad," Mavis sobbed, her tiny body trembling.
