The Sabertooth guild hall buzzed with its usual activity, but in the Master's office, a more serious atmosphere prevailed. Liddan sat across from Masaki, helping her sort through a mountain of paperwork. Despite the tedious task, he couldn't help but feel a sense of pride in assisting his girlfriend in her role as acting guild master.

Masaki sighed, rubbing her temples. "You know, Liddan, I never realized how much work goes into running a guild. I don't know how my father does it."

Liddan offered a sympathetic smile. "You're doing great, Masaki. Your dad would be proud."

Masaki's expression softened at the mention of her father. "Speaking of which, I've been meaning to tell you something. The night my father and uncle Rouge fell ill... that's when Weisslogia and Skiadrum showed up."

Liddan's eyes widened at this information. "Really? That's... interesting timing." He furrowed his brow, recalling something. "You know, based on what my mom's spirits told us, when the Life and Death God Slayer uses their magic, it weakens the person it was used on. I wonder if there's a connection..."

Before Masaki could respond, the office door swung open. Mist entered, followed closely by Laurie. In Mist's hand was an official-looking envelope.

"Sorry to interrupt," Mist said, her usually calm demeanor tinged with excitement. "But this just arrived for you, Masaki. It's from the Queen of Fiore herself."

Masaki's eyes widened in surprise as she took the letter. "The Queen? What could she possibly want with us?"

Without wasting another moment, Masaki tore open the envelope and quickly scanned its contents. As she read, her expression shifted from curiosity to shock. She let out an audible gasp, her hand flying to her mouth.

"Masaki? What is it?" Liddan asked, concern evident in his voice.

Masaki looked up, her face pale. "Liddan, Laurie, you need to go see Master Lexy at once. This... this changes everything."

"What does it say?" Laurie pressed, his curiosity piqued.

Masaki shook her head, still processing the information. "I can't explain everything now. Just hurry to Fairy Tail. Master Lexy needs to know about this immediately."

Liddan and Laurie exchanged worried glances. Whatever was in that letter, it was clearly of utmost importance.

"Alright, we're on our way," Liddan said, standing up. "Masaki, are you going to be okay?"

Masaki nodded, her determination returning. "I'll be fine. I need to discuss this with the other guild members here. You two focus on getting this information to Fairy Tail as fast as you can."

As Liddan and Laurie approached the Fairy Tail guild hall, they were surprised to see Metalicana pacing anxiously outside. The iron dragon's massive form cast a shadow over the entrance, his agitation palpable.

Laurie rushed forward, concern etched on his face. "Grandfather! What's wrong?"

Metalicana barely seemed to notice them, continuing his pacing and muttering under his breath. "Impossible... it can't be... after all this time..."

Liddan exchanged a worried glance with Laurie. "Stay out here with him," Liddan said. "Try to calm him down. I'll go inside and see what's happening."

As Liddan entered the guild hall, he was immediately struck by the tense atmosphere. Near the bar, he spotted Naku, Nashi, Gideon, and Sylvie huddled around a piece of paper. From their serious expressions, he guessed it was the same letter Masaki had received.
