Mira is the oldest sister of Rapunzel, she unlike her sister has brown hair due to the fact Rapunzels' blonde hair came from a flower. Mira is now attending Merlin Academy along with her best friend, Mulan.

In the castle there was a man -other wise known as king Frederic-looking for his princess around the halls, rooms, and any place that his daughter could be in.
Finally he decides to go into the backyard in hopes to find his daughter there, he comes into a halt and smiles when he sees her playing with her horse.
He calls out her name to catch her attention, "yes father?" The sixteen year old asks her father. "Come take a walk with me my daughter" he says holding out a hand waiting for her to hold it.
Soon the duo can be seen walking inside the halls of their home. They walk in silence but it's not awkward to either of them. "Is there something you wanted to tell me father?" The young princess soon to be heir of the thrown - that is if her mother doesn't pop out with a baby boy - asks as soon as they reach the living room where her mother, also known as Queen Arianna, was reading a book.
"Yes, Mira, you have been invited to attend Merlin Academy for your first year, both me and your mother have agreed that will go" Joy can be seen inside the girls eyes as a huge smile finds her face.
"But you do need to be aware that there will be Vks attending Merlin as well" her mother says as she gets up from the couch to stand next to her husband. "And we have also agreed that we don't want you hanging out with any of those-"
She was soon cut off "why can't I hang out with them? I mean what if they aren't as people make them out to be, what if-"
"Mira you know what happened to your sister - I mean for sakes we have guards out everywhere all around the kingdom looking for her day and night" her mother says with an upset look as she thinks back to her other baby who was taken from her when she was just born.
Mira stops talking and looks at both her parents with a heart ache but also knowing that she will get no where with the soon to be argument if she continues talking about Vks. "Fine. I'll stay away from them if that's what you want"
"Your first day is August 5th I suggest you start packing since you will be staying at the dorms" her father says as he dismisses her to go do as she pleases.
With that Mira goes outside to get her horse and informs a guard she will be in the forest with Mulan knowing her parents trust Mira with Mulan. As she gets to the forest she calls out for Mulan knowing she has to be near since this is the time they usually meet up. "Don't worry princess, I'm right here" Mulan speaks behind her with a small smirk
"There you are" Mira stops for moments before thinking back to conversation she just had with her parents "Mulan did you get invited to Merlin Academy?"
"Oh that yea my parents aren't sure if they should make me go since Vks will also be there" Mulan says as she gets closer to Shadow feed him a apple that she took out her purse. "Why are you going?"
"Yes, my parents accepted and are making me stay away from them but I see no use in that I mean what if they are actually nice" Mira speaks as she sits on a log that was behind her horse "and people just make them see bad knowing where they come from and who they hang out with"
Mulan raises an eyebrow as she gives Mira a you know well enough look making the girl sigh. "There will never be an end to you thinking people deserve a chance no matter who they are will there" Mulan says as she sits next to girl who has been her friend for almost two years now
"Of course not, but I see no use in staying away from them if I'm going to be having classes with some of them and the excuse my parents gave me was out of pocket" the girl says as she puts her chin her hands looking at her horse trying to bite a butterfly that had flown by
"I mean like why mention my sister getting kidnapped when that happened one year ago and don't get me wrong I can see why they would want me away from them but not everyone is the same...right? Plus who will hang out with if you don't go"
Mulan stays quiet as she listens to her friend rant about this "you know, how about I convince my parents to let me go and that way I can keep an eye on you and keep your parents wishes"
Mira looks at her friend with excitement and hugs her best and only friend. Soon the girls forget about the conversation as they walk further into the forest into a river stream where they hang out for the rest of day until the sun sets.
Two months later the girls have finally settled down in their dorms and luckily for them, they shared a dorm.
And that is how the beginning of everything started.
