AIAH'S POV [fast-forward to 5 years later]

I woke up to the birds chirping, it was a peaceful morning indeed. I brushed my teeth and washed my face so I could start my morning routine.

I took my yoga mat and placed it on the floor of the balcony. I meditated and did some yoga exercises before I headed to the kitchen.

After some stretching, I went to the kitchen and sliced some fresh fruit for our breakfast.

I also took out the overnight oats I prepared last night from the fridge, it's her favorite breakfast.

I transferred it to a bowl and heard her cry, "Mommy!" She probably had a bad dream.

I went up to her room and said, "Hey, mommy's here," trying to soothe her until she stopped crying

I went up to her room and said, "Hey, mommy's here," trying to soothe her until she stopped crying.

She stood up and hugged me. "Did you have a bad dream?" I asked. She didn't respond; she's just like me in the morning, needing time to adjust before interacting.

I gave her a tight but gentle hug to reassure her that everything was okay, that mommy was here.

I gently pulled away from our hug and asked her, "Who wants some overnight oats and mixed berries?" Her sleepy eyes lit up, and she raised her hands like she was in a competition.

I smiled, she's the cutest baby ever. "Shall we go downstairs?" She didn't say a word but nodded in agreement.

I carried her downstairs and sat her in her chair. After putting her hair in a ponytail and fastening her bib, I kissed the top of her head.

At just three years old, she's already such a smart kid. I admired how advanced she is for her age.

I prepared her bowl of overnight oats and topped it with mixed berries, just the way she likes it. She watched me intently, observing everything I was doing.

I placed her bowl on her chair along with her sippy cup so she could start eating.

However, she didn't touch her food yet and asked, "Mom? Where's Dada?"

However, she didn't touch her food yet and asked, "Mom? Where's Dada?"

"I'm right here," Mikha said as she appeared behind her. She kissed her cheek. "Good morning, my baby." She smiled at Mikha and then took a big piece of strawberry, putting it in her mouth.
