This was it. Ino's and Sai's special day has finally arrived and the pinkette couldn't be more excited. Her best friend was getting married!
Sakura slowly opened Ino's bedroom door, planning on waking up her best friend. She sneaked up to the bed, grabbing the blanket and uncovering it only to find no one but Ino's fluffy toy.
Where's that pig? The pinkette wondered and looked around the room.
"Over here, forehead!" Ino called over from the balcony. Sakura chuckled and walked up to her. "Of course you're already awake. It's your wedding day."
"Exactly." Ino nodded with a grin. "I already asked for the maids to help me get ready."
"Oh, you'll surely look magnificent." The pinkette smiled. "The girls are on their way too."
"Good. We can all get ready together."
With the help of few maids, the girls were soon ready to attend the wedding of the decade and party till they couldn't.
Of course, they were bit cautious from their last encounter with alcohol, but a little drink wouldn't hurt anyone.
"Let me make a toast to us," Temari began, raising a glass of champagne and grabbing her best friends' attention. "Hinata and I are already engulfed with the married life and Ino's about to join us too, but trust me, no man comes between us." She grinned, pointing at their group. "This? This is forever."
"We will always come first." Ino grinned.
"Always." Tenten chimed in.
Hinata wrapped her arm around Sakura and added. "And forever."
"We're Konoha's divas, after all." Sakura smirked and the five girls sipped the champagne while singing their 'drunk song', the one that brought them ephemeral TikTok fame.
"I want to take pictures before we leave!" Ino stated, running to her drawer and grabbing an old digital camera. "It's more aesthetical like this." She smiled and did a pose.
For after million taken pictures, the girls found themselves in the limo, driving to the church. Sakura couldn't help but fidget on her necklace, unable to contain all the anxiousness. Yes, she wasn't sure if certain dark haired man would be attending but if Hinata's assumptions were correct, Sasuke would be there, and truth be told, Sakura didn't know how to feel about that. She was anxious, that much was correct, but she knew she could handle it this time. Unlike Naruto's and Hinata's wedding, Sakura could actually control her emotions enough to ignore Sasuke Uchiha's entire existence.
She was stronger and much more confident than two years ago. So, even if she saw Sasuke. It would not matter.
Yes, good. The pinkette assured herself. I can do this. It's Ino's wedding, my best friend's wedding. I won't let him ruin it for me.
"You okay?" Hinata whispered to her, upon noticing her change of demeanor.
"Yup, better than ever." Sakura backed her words with a profound confidence. Hinata smiled in return, but still squeezed her hand.
Soon enough, five girls were standing outside the church, waiting for the music to start and motion them to begin walking down the aisle. Sakura gave one last glance to all of her friends. Tenten, who would marching first, looked radiant in her sunflower yellow sheath dress, the dress itself was beautiful too, with Queen Anne styled sleeves. Tenten's dark brown hair was in a waterfall braid, with curls falling on her shoulders gracefully.
