"Happy Anniversary!" Everyone cheered and applauded. Bottles were popped and champagne spouted into the air. I sighed in contentment.
"This place is fucking bananas!" Chris, my business partner, yelled over the loud music
I smiled resting my hands on the railing observing the hundreds of people underneath me dancing and drinking their problems away.
"Only two years old and this is the best goddamn nightclub ever to be opened. My whole database turned out," he stated cockily.
"Yeah, you know the right people," I chuckled " just make it damn near impossible to get in that door."
"Even for my VIPs?"
"Fuck your VIPs," I looked around, "What was headcount?"
"670 and it's not even midnight." he waved over the server working our section. " fire marshall told us to keep it under 540 if he shows were fucked."
"more patron!" he told Gail. She nodded her head before turning to me. "bring up more of everything," I added.
She smirked, "You got it, boss," I turned to Chris "It's worth it."
"I'm the one that'll get chewed out," Chris said.
I shrugged my shoulders. " Uhm excuse me G?" Kelly roughly tapped me. I rubbed my arm and my eyebrows furrowed, " what?"
"it's Hazel, she's not doing very well." she pointed to the side of the stage. I leaned over a little to see where she was pointing.
Hazel openly popped a pill before dumping I don't know how many into her customer's mouth, all while giving him a lap dance. His hands were under her skirt, and her head was thrown back. My hands tightened around the railing, the site made my blood boil
" she's high. She's no use tonight." Kelly said in a worried tone.
"Don't make a scene about it, just get her off the floor and go home." I grabbed her wrist before she could walk off, "Get the man's name as well," I let her go.
"Hey boss! They want you downstairs."I heard as soon as I turned around. The club was celebrating an anniversary, and I still couldn't catch a break.
"Who wants me?"
