"Ahira where are you going" I heard maa asking as she saw me coming downstairs in my office attire. "Maa there is an urgent meeting I have to attain it."I said and sat on chair sipping my morning coffee.
"But we have to go shopping,right? for your wedding"

Wedding, yeah how can I forget this.I'm getting married in just 5 days with Prithvi.He is our business partner's son.
Honestly I didn't have any interest in marriage but as Dad suggested that it will benefit us in the business,I instantly agreed.I mean as long as it's beneficial for our company,I have no problem with this arrangement.
But the frustrating part is that I'm not getting enough time for my work and it's making me insane till my core.The work ,The business are everything for me.
Just 2 days ago Prithvi and I got engage.It was a small function but still Mom didn't let me go to the office.Well I have to sacrifice this much but I have no idea how I'm even going to cope up with all this till the wedding.

"Ahira,where are you lost huh? I'm calling you since last 5 minutes and even your phone is ringing continuously ,pick it up beta" Mom said placing her hand on my shoulder.
"Huh" I pick up the call seeing the caller id.

'Just prepare for the meeting, I'm coming' I said through the phone and hung up the call.

"Ahira!what about the shoppi-"
"Maa I will directly come to the mall after finishing the work Just message me." I didn't let her complete and rushed outside.
' It's going to be a long day' with that thought I sat in the car and drove towards my destination.

I sneakily enter from the front door using the spare keys of the house.I took my shoes in one hand as other was holding a bag and starts walking towards the staircase.
God please Please don't let anyone see me please.I have to get inside my room quickly.
Wait.... it's 5 in the morning everyone must be sleeping right?chill bruhh you got this.I just can't let mom see me or else I will be a dead meat.
I sigh.'You Got This Shashank just some stairs and you will be in your room safe and sound.
'self-motivation is necessary'

I took one step on the stairs.
"Oh You came beta"I halt my movement as I heard dad.
No way how can he get up this early.What about mom.
She must be sleeping right? Haha I know.
I nervously turn arround and my breathe hitched seeing mom just standing beside dad.
No,no no They should be asleep at this hour as per my analysis.

'oh yeah your amazing analysis' My inner voice mocked me.

"Hi-hii Good morning guys" I greet them while laughing nervously and freed my hands by putting the bag and shoes on staircase.
"Good morning son,how was your trip"Dad asked as I walk towards them and bend down to touch their feets not before eyeing at mom's face. "Haha it was good dad"I replied still feeling anxious and again look at mom's face why is she so silent bruh.

"Ahh- Mummy" I suddenly yelp in pain when I felt someone twitching my ear.
"Haa teri mummy,Bol beta"She said with her firm grip on my ear.

"Ah- sor-sorry mummy"I yelp and hold her hand when i felt her grip tighten on my ear."why are you sorry beta"she asked with a smile.This smile is so creepy. My Lovely Mata shree it's hurting and my ear is crying.

"I- I'm sorry for going on a trip with my friends without informing you guys"
"And?" She said and raised her eyebrow. Hmm is it there more?I heard dad chuckling at my misery.
I again yelp as she tighten her grip
over my ears.
"Ah- an-and sorry for not picking up your calls for straight 1 week and just getting home that too sneakily"I felt the grip loosened and i instantly rub my ear. Uff bach gya. ( Narrowly survived)

"Go and freshen up and have breakfast then we will talk" Mom said and went in the kitchen.

Lagta hai abhi nhi bach paya
