Meet Crown Prince Jeongguk , the 20 year old son of King Gangjong and Queen Wonsu of the Goryeo Dynasty .

Jeongguk is a triple threat, excelling in martial arts, Studies and we'll known for being brave. His chiseled features and piercing gaze make him a heartthrob among the palace maids and ladies of the court.

As the crown Prince, Jeongguk has always felt a sense of responsibility to his parents and the kingdom. He is determined to make them proud, and become a great king oneday.

King Gangjong, a wise ruler and Queen Wonsu, a beautiful and intelligent queen, have high hopes for their son. They encourage his passion and support his development, knowing he will make a great King oneday.

Jeongguk is queen's first born with king, but he's king's second child. Jeongguk has an older half brother 'Sungchoel' born to one of the king's concubines .Prince Sungchoel is handsome, intelligent and skilled in martial arts too, but his mother's status as a concubine means he is not eligible for the throne. This has fostered a deep seated resentment towards Jeongguk, whom Sungchoel sees as a rival and obstacle to his own success.

Sungchoel's anger extends to the King, whom he feels has neglected his mother and favoured Queen Wonsu and Jeongguk instead. This complicated web of relationships creates tension within the palace, and Jeongguk must navigate these dynamics with care.

Meanwhile Jeongguk's younger brother Kai, looks up to him with admiration and adoration. The two brothers share a close bond and Jeongguk is determined to protect and support Kai as he grows.

The Goryeo kingdom is allied with Xiongnu tribe, and has been supporting each other in times of hardship and war. However when the Xiongnu tribe starts a war against the Song dynasty, Goryeo's support helps them gain the upper hand. As the Xiongnu tribe becomes more powerful, they start to ignore Goryeo's king and his demands.

Angered by this, the king turns to his court minister's for a solution. One of the most intelligent officials,
Lord Park, suggest an intermarriage between Goryeo's Prince and the Song dynasty's princess. This proposal is met with agreement from the other officials.

Lord Park, the intelligent official, is tasked with leading the delegation to the Song dynasty to negotiate the intermarriage. He is accompanied by a small group of trusted advisor and gaurds.

Upon arriving at the Song dynasty's capital, they are greeted by the emperor's representative, a dignified and refined scholar official named Minister Li. Minister Li is well aware of the political implications, of the proposed intermarriage and is determined to ensure that the Song dynasty's interest are protected.
