Taehyung strolled through the school corridor with a serene smile, the morning sun casting a warm glow through the windows. He adjusted the strap of his bag, feeling the soft weight of its contents as he checked the time on his wristwatch, making sure he had another five or ten minutes before returning to his own corridor.

As he walked further down the corridor, he savored the peacefulness of the early morning, his thoughts briefly drifting to Jungkook.

However, the peaceful mood was abruptly shattered when he saw Wooshik already standing in the same corridor, his presence casting a shadow over Taehyung's tranquil morning.

"Don't you have any work to do?" Taehyung asked, his tone a mix of curiosity and irritation as he approached.

"Same question. Don’t you?" Wooshik retorted, his voice stern. "Why are you here?"

"Just checking on Jungkook," Taehyung replied with a nonchalant shrug.

"You don’t need to. My eyes are fully dedicated to that task," Wooshik said, pulling his eyelids open in a dramatic gesture.

"At least use them for something better," Taehyung said, giving Wooshik a light push to move away from his path.

"I don’t think there’s anything better than Jungkook. He’s the best. 11 out of 10," Wooshik said, quickening his pace to keep up with Taehyung.

"Wait. Why are you so bothered?" Wooshik asked.

"Jin hyung asked me to check on him," Taehyung replied casually.

"Excuse me. Where are you all heading to?" However, Seojoon’s voice boomed though the corridor, interrupting their exchange.

Taehyung and Wooshik halted in their tracks as Seojoon approached. "There comes next," Taehyung said with a dramatic eye roll.

"Go to your class," Seojoon said, pushing past them to make his way down the corridor.

"Haha. That’s applicable to you too," Wooshik called out, hurrying after Seojoon.

"I have to see him first. I am his first love," Seojoon declared with an air of self-importance.

"First love? You decided that yourself?" Taehyung asked, raising an eyebrow as he also rushed behind them.

"Yes. And wait, who are you? You’re not even in this competition. You’re just a random passerby," Seojoon said, shoving Taehyung lightly by the shoulder.

"I have more importance in his life. We’re like family... Mm... Family friends," Taehyung retorted.

"Captain Yoongi there," Wooshik announced suddenly with wider eyes and in a fearful expression, causing Taehyung to scramble behind a pillar in panic and Seojoon to nearly leap out of the corridor.

"See? The depth of family friendship," Wooshik laughed, continuing down the hallway toward Jungkook’s classroom.

"Did he just tease us?" Taehyung asked, peeking from behind the pillar.

Seojoon nodded, chasing after Wooshik. "Seems like it," he said with a smirk.

"I will kick him then." Taehyung said, dashing after them.

As the trio reached the door to Jungkook’s classroom, their eyes scanned the room with a mix of urgency and curiosity. Their gaze finally landed on Jungkook, who was seated in the middle row. He was deeply engrossed in an animated conversation with his two friends, his gestures lively and his expression bright. The energy of the room contrasted with their own anticipation, as they watched the ethereal beauty glowing in the morning light.
