"Mr. Captain, eyes on the road. You’re going to get us both killed,” Jungkook scolded, cheeks dusting with a pink hue as he caught Taehyung’s gaze drifting his way for what felt like the hundredth time.

Taehyung just chuckled, shaking his head as he adjusted his grip on the wheel.

Unable to resist his flustered heart, Jungkook rolled down the window, letting the cool morning air sweep in. He stretched his hand outside, catching raindrops in his palm. With a playful grin, he flicked his wet hand toward Taehyung, spraying him with a fine mist.

“Haha, do you have a wish to drench us both?” Taehyung laughed, casting a sideways glance at him with a mock warning.

“If it’s with you…” Jungkook’s voice trailed off, his words barely more than a whisper. The playful air around them shifted as his gaze softened, words holding a quiet sincerity that Taehyung couldn’t ignore.

In a heartbeat, Taehyung turned the wheel sharply and pulled the jeep over, bringing them to a sudden halt on the side of the road. The action was so abrupt that Jungkook jerked forward, catching his breath as he felt the sudden stillness after the car’s momentum.

Before Jungkook could even process what was happening, Taehyung was out of the driver’s seat, stepping into the rain and circling around to Jungkook’s side. Jungkook watched in surprise as Taehyung opened the passenger door and reached in, taking his hand in one swift motion.

“Hey…what are you doing?” Jungkook whispered, his voice trembling slightly as he felt the rain soaking through his clothes.

Taehyung didn’t answer, simply pulling him out into the open, his arm sliding around Jungkook’s waist as raindrops fell around them in a steady rhythm. The morning air was thick with tension, charged with unspoken words and long-held glances. Jungkook shivered, not from the cold but from the warmth radiating from Taehyung’s touch.

“We’ll catch a cold,” Jungkook murmured, instinctively raising his hands to shield both their heads from the rain. But Taehyung only pulled him closer, his eyes holding Jungkook’s with an intensity that made his heart pound.

“But this is what you wanted, isn’t it?” Taehyung’s voice was low, almost a murmur, his fingers gently tracing circles along Jungkook’s waist. Jungkook’s breath hitched, his pulse racing as he felt the heat of Taehyung’s body pressed against him. There was something almost magnetic in Taehyung’s gaze, a spark that made Jungkook’s hands drop to his sides, helplessly pulled into the moment.

Taehyung leaned closer, “I want to taste you,” he whispered, his lips hovering just inches from Jungkook’s, the words a breath against his skin.

Jungkook’s heart leaped, and he instinctively took a small step back. But Taehyung’s arm around his waist held him in place, his touch steady and reassuring, grounding him in the moment.

Jungkook opened his mouth to speak, but his words were lost as Taehyung closed the distance between them, capturing his lips in a kiss that was soft, yet full of longing.

The rain fell around them in steady sheets, but all Jungkook could feel was the slow tugging of Taehyung’s lips on his. His hands gradually found their way to Taehyung’s shoulders, fingers curling into his shirt as he leaned into the kiss, surrendering to the wave of emotions he had been holding back for so long.

Jungkook hummed as he felt Taehyung's tongue roaming around his mouth, his fingers digging on the either side of his waist and at that moment all Jungkook felt was to sit somewhere or lay somewhere as his legs felt like giving up just like his mind.

And when they finally parted, both were breathing heavily, Taehyung’s forehead rested against Jungkook’s, a soft smile playing on his lips. “You drive me crazy, Jungkook. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
