Taehyung led Jungkook to the dining room with a gentle, yet firm grip. He guided him to sit on a chair, taking the one right beside him. With a smooth motion, Taehyung pulled Jungkook's chair closer, the legs of the chair scraping softly against the floor until they were face-to-face, with Taehyung locking Jungkook's legs between his own. The closeness made Jungkook's heart race, a mix of nervousness and something deeper settling in his chest.

"So," Taehyung began, his voice soft yet laced with a teasing edge. "Tell me. How much did you miss me?" He leaned forward, resting his chin on his hands that were propped on his knees, his gaze lifting to meet Jungkook's. The proximity was almost too much, making Jungkook instinctively lean back, trying to create some distance.

"Me?" Jungkook feigned nonchalance, though his heart was pounding in his chest. Taehyung nodded, his eyes sparkling with mischief and something else, something that made Jungkook's breath catch.

"Not even a bit," Jungkook replied, leaning back in his chair and crossing his legs and arms in a defensive posture. He wanted to maintain his composure, but Taehyung was making it increasingly difficult.

Taehyung rolled his eyes, clearly unimpressed with Jungkook's attempt to play it cool. With a swift move, he grabbed Jungkook's hand, pulling him forward so that their faces were inches apart. The sudden closeness made Jungkook's pulse quicken, his body tense with anticipation. Taehyung's hand found its way around Jungkook's neck, pulling him even closer, and Jungkook couldn't help but glance at Taehyung's lips, the proximity too overwhelming to ignore.

"But I miss you like hell," Taehyung whispered, his voice a husky murmur that sent shivers down Jungkook's spine. As he spoke, Taehyung's fingers threaded through Jungkook's shoulder-length hair, the touch so gentle yet electrifying that it made Jungkook's breath hitch. He could feel his heart pounding in his ears, the intimate moment stealing his breath away.

Jungkook's lips were dry, and he wet them nervously, trying to steady his racing heart. "Why?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper, as if afraid that speaking too loudly would break the spell that Taehyung had cast over him.

"Do you really want an answer for that?" Taehyung's voice was soft, a mere breath against Jungkook's lips. Jungkook nodded, but before he could process the words, Taehyung's lips were on his, soft, gentle, yet filled with a yearning that made Jungkook's heart skip a beat.

The kiss was tender, almost hesitant, as if Taehyung was savoring the moment, afraid to break the fragile connection between them. His fingers continued to caress Jungkook's hair. Jungkook closed his eyes as he felt Taehyung's hand move to cup his cheek, the warmth of his palm grounding him in the whirlwind of emotions that surged within him.

"You're eating up my brain, Jungkook," Taehyung murmured against his lips, the words a tender caress. He felt Taehyung's thumb gently stroke his lower lip, a touch so intimate that it made his heart swell with emotion.
