On The Ice

Tied up.

At the next practice, we were all tied up together.
" Somebody better watch their hands." Julie spoke up. " Seriously, i hate this." I agreed. " who just poked my arm!" I whipped my head around to see Luis behind me. " sorry, i didn't mean to." he apologized, red faced. " Yeah, Somebody licked me!" Averman said. " Aw, I smell something, ugh.." I said. "GOLDBERG!" We all yelled.
" It wasn't me!" he replied. " No, it was me!" Dean said proudly, waving his arms in the air. We all yelled in disgust. The whistle was blown, and Coach said, " I don't know how to make this any clearer. You are a team. And to win this thing, you have to work as one. Now as one, skate." We tried to skate, but everyone was moving in a different direction, so we fell to the ground. "Everyone goes their own way, everyone falls down. Now get up, and try again." Coach said.

"Alright, everyone move to your right. Now." Dean demanded. " Who made you the boss? Everyone to the left." Fulton snapped back. We all fell once more.
" You guys can argue all you want, but i'm not untying you until you move as one." Coach reminded us. We were all skating together as one. Coach encouraged us to move to the right, so we did. Coach said, " You guys are starting to look like hockey players. I'm proud of ya, Team. You worked hard today. But hockey, should also be fun. Rancher Dwayne." " Yes sir!" he replied. " Round me up some stray cattle there." Coach said, handing him a rope lasso, and we all started to scatter in fear. He started to whip the lasso onto people, getting them out of the game. He also taught us how to line dance!

After practice, i sat in the locker room and began to take my skates off. One of the girls sat next to me.
" Hi, i'm Connie! I'm so glad to have another girl on the team. Being the only girl was getting exhausting." she said. " Yes, same! My name is Liana by the way. I'll see you later!" I said, and she started to  get up.
