Nessie's POV

I woke up when the plane landed in Seattle. Izzy was smiling excitedly next to me. I looked out the window to the rainy city, and a smile came to my face as well. In the past few days I acted like it was a big sacrifice for me to be here again, and partially it is - leaving work is always difficult. But honestly, it will be kind of nice to see Forks and La Push again. Not to mention a certain guy, who is probably already waiting for us outside.

Claire and Kate sat way before us, so we met down at the baggage claim station. Claire anxiously drummed her fingers on her suitcase.

So, tell me again why Jake is the one who is picking us up? They flipped a coin yesterday, and he won. And since there are four of us, only one person can pick us up. Okay. - she nods and bites her lips. Kate smirks at me, and goes for her suitcase. - And you will be staying with him. Not with me and Kate. Yes, Claire. - I sigh. She has a very anxious nature, stating facts and reassuring her is very much needed before she encounters a new situation. - Emily only has one guest bedroom, that's for you and Kate. And Jake insisted Izzy and I stay with him instead of a hotel. He lives close to Emily, we won't be far away. Okay. - she nods again, and when all of us have our suitcases, we start to go out. The questions, which I have answered multiple times already, have stopped. But of course, Kate has to continue them. And you sure you have nothing going on with this Jake guy? We are friends. Sure, sure. - she nods with a smirk, and I feel the need to push her down the stairs. - I remember you came back with him from the forest during the party, and you were very flushed.I was probably drunk. So something happened.I did not say that.

Claire and Izzy just listen to our conversation with a smile. They probably think something is going on as well, but they would never ask. Both of them are very polite. Kate on the other hand, is the opposite of polite. She is loud and opinionated, but she has great communication skills and besides being a great assistant, she is a wonderful friend. The type who tells you the truth, even if you would fight her about it.

The cool rainy air hit my face when we exited the main building, and I looked around to find Jake. It would have been hard to miss him. He stood in the parking lot, only a few feet away from us. His back was against a black car, his muscled arms were folded against his chest, of course he was only wearing a T-shirt in the drizzling rain that fitted him perfectly, and a huge smile broke out on his face when he spotted us. My heart did a stupid little dance at the sight of him, which was probably written all over my face, because I could feel Kate smirking at me.

Shut up. - I whispered to her, before we met Jake at his car.

Jake's POV

How was she even more beautiful than the last time I saw her?

Her brownish, curly copper hair was out of its messy bun and it was flying into every direction. She was wearing no makeup, but her face was beautiful as always. Those chocolate brown eyes pierced my soul, and just her smile sped up my heartbeat. She was wearing high-waisted ripped jeans that hugged her form perfectly, and made me remember when I was touching that perfect form of her under the tree when she kissed me two weeks ago.

I tried to get rid of that picture. She is my friend. She wants to be my friend. No matter how many times I replayed that kiss in my head. I met them half way and swept her up a hug. She smelt divine. I couldn't even describe it, I just knew it's my favorite scent and I would recognize it anywhere. I buried my face in her hair, and held her close.

I missed you. - I whispered so quietly close to her ears, that I knew she was the only one who could hear me. She let out a strangled breath and hugged me back. I was content to hold her all day like this, but I knew we had company, and I needed to make an effort to be her friend. I slowly let her go, but my hand lingered on her waist before I turned towards the others. Hi guys, it's nice to see you all. - I smiled at them, and slowly pulled my hands back from Nessie's waist.
