"Hello Gorgeous,"

I close my locker and find Vic once again leaning against the lockers beside me. He has the cutest smile on his face and a look in his eyes that just makes me want to melt.

"Hi," I giggle, pulling my bag onto my shoulder. "Are you ever going to ease up with these pet names?"

"No. Why? Do you want me to?"

"No." I murmur.

He takes my hand, causing a breath to hitch in my throat as we begin heading toward the cafeteria. I wasn't expecting Vic to want to go public with our relationship, especially since he made it clear he didn't want to tell his parents, but he clearly doesn't mind the whole school knowing. Which is strange, because he is Vic Fuentes and I'm me. I guess people are as shocked that I landed him as I am, because we get a few strange glances down the hall.

He only drops my hand when we get to our table in the cafeteria where Mike and Tony are already eating. He pulls out a chair for me and thank him as I sit down.

"I'll go get us some lunch. You hungry?" he chirps, standing behind me.

"Kinda?" I shrug. I think I would be hungry if my stomach wasn't filled with butterflies.

"Okay, I'll get you something small." he says, before kissing my cheek and hurrying off.

I bite my lip and cup my blushing cheek in my hand as I watch him join the back of the line for food.

"So its official then?" Tony beams.

I meet his gaze and nod shyly.

"Aw, well you guys are so sweet together." he hums.

"Oh you should have seen them on the drive to school this morning. Non-stop flirting. Its a little sickening." Mike chuckles.

"Please, they've been flirting for weeks." Tony snorts which makes me blush some more.

I immediately feel defensive. But then I consider that maybe he's right. I mean, Vic has been so sweet this entire time. And I guess my feelings for Vic just developed so naturally that I didn't even notice it happening. If I noticed, I for sure would have never let it happen. Lord knows that the thought of jumping into another relationship has terrified me, but I couldn't deny my feelings for Vic. And his reassurances are always so easy to give in to. Part of me knew from the moment we kissed, my heart and mind were made up.

Jaime and Jess join us at the table and greet me with a sweet 'hey'.

"Haven't seen you for a few days, Kell. It's good to have you back. Missed you." Jess grins.

My heart swells a little in my chest. I wouldn't even think that my absence was noticed, let alone that I was missed. I guess these people are slowly becoming my friends. Just a few weeks ago, I thought my life was over. Maybe a fresh start is more possible than I believed.

Vic soon returns to the table, a tray full of food, a fruit cup, yogurt and a cookie for me as well as a plate of nachos for himself. He eases into conversation with his friends, and I observe like usual, slowly picking away at my food. It's business as usual, the only difference being Vic's knee resting against mine. The physical contact is almost nothing, but it feels needed.

"So Jaime and I are having a carnival date down at the wharf this weekend. We were thinking since you guys are now dating, did you want to make it a double date?" Jess proposes to Mike and Tony.

"We're in, but why don't we make it a triple date." Mike grins, glancing from me to Vic. I feel my face heat up at the sudden attention.

Jess looks to us confused but then her mouth drops open and her eyes widen.
