Ibrahim entered the courtroom with Saima and Sahil. Ibrahim took his seat at the prosecutor's chair, while Saima and Sahil sat behind him in the gallery. The judge entered the courtroom, and everyone stood up out of respect.

"Please sit down," the judge ordered.

The environment in the courtroom was filled with tension. A police officer entered the courtroom with Wahaj and his friends. They stopped by Saima's seat, smirked at her, and then went to their seats.

"Prosecutor and defense attorney, please give your opening statements," the judge ordered, stopping further conversations.

"Ladies and gentlemen and honorable judge, today we are here to defend someone whose actions have been misunderstood. It is our duty to ensure that the truth is heard and that justice is served. My clients stand before you not as criminals, but as people seeking fairness. We ask you to listen carefully to the evidence and to deliver a verdict that reflects the true nature of this case," the defense attorney said in his opening statement.

"In the name of Allah, the most gracious, and the most merciful. I stand here before you today alive because of Allah, who gave me a second chance to live and bring forth the justice that has been lost from the Pakistani court system, which make victims like Saima lose trust in the system and lose hope. My reason for fighting her case is that I don't want others like Saima in Pakistan. I request the honorable judge to listen and carefully examine the evidence provided and stand with justice," Ibrahim said in his opening statement, making everyone in the courtroom shiver.

"Prosecutor, please present your case," the judge asked Ibrahim.

"Your honor, on June 15, 2024, my client Saima was abducted and raped by Wahaj Shah and his four friends," Ibrahim started.

"Objection, your honor," the defense attorney said.

"Objection overruled. Let him finish," the judge ordered, to which the defense attorney shut his mouth and sat back down.

"She was taken to their penthouse located in F6, Islamabad. She was made to inhale a chemical that made her unconscious. When she woke up, she banged on the door, and all five of them entered the room and said, and I quote, 'It's not fun to play with girls unless they are conscious and protest.' Saima tried hard for about two hours to get them off her, but they one by one raped her. Though Saima is not pregnant, she has been through physical and mental torture. Then Saima was wrapped in a bedsheet and left near a garbage dump where a woman found her and called the police, and Saima was taken to the hospital," he went toward the clerk to pass something to the judge and continued. "These are Saima's medical reports, which clearly state that Saima was raped."

"Objection, your honour. Saima herself called these guys and offered to sleep with them for money as she belongs to a middle-class family and needed money," the defence attorney said.

"Do you have evidence of the chat or call?" the judge asked.

"Yes, your honour," he then presented the chats to the judge and continued. "Your honour, on June 14, 2024, Saima sent a message to my client Wahaj and offered her body to him, and the next day she peacefully went with them to their penthouse," the defence attorney claimed.

"Objection, your honour," Ibrahim intervened. "If Saima went peacefully and was ready to offer her body, then why did we find the chemical in her system that made her lose consciousness, and why did the medical report mention multiple bruises, scratches, and slap marks on her face?" Ibrahim reasoned.

"The reports can be fake too, Mr. Ibrahim. You are not as experienced. You are young and you don't understand how these middle-class girls are who can do anything to get money out of rich guys," the defence attorney remarked.
