The swimming hole. Sylvie stumbled upon it with Kasey when their family did a spike camp back when she was 5 and it's been one of her favorite places ever since.

It was perfectly remote, no one was around for miles. It was quiet, the only sounds being heard were the trickling of water and the noises of nature.

Sylvie tied Bodie to a nearby tree, still making sure he was able to reach the water to get a drink if he needed.

"We jumping?" Chloe asked gesturing up to the large rock above them

"Hell yeah! Come on!" Sylvie whooped as she tossed her hat on the ground

The teens ran up the small hill beside the swimming hole and made it to the rock, both of them were giggling in excitement by the time they reached the top.

"On three!" Sylvie grinned

"One!"

"Two!"

"Three!"

Screams of glee escaped the girls as they took the leap and jumped down into the cool water, Sylvie stayed under for a moment enjoying the way the cold water felt against her warm skin.

When Sylvie broke the surface of the water Chloe was already on the bank ready to run back up.

"Come on, let's go again!" Chloe smiled and Sylvie swam to the bank before following Chloe back up to the rock

The girls spent hours swimming and jumping and floating around, it was a perfect day. Now they were sitting in the grass drying off, Sylvie was lying down, propping her head up on a lump of grass and Chloe was sitting across from her against a tree.

"I brought something." Chloe broke the peaceful silence before grabbing her small fabric bag she brought with them to keep their water bottles in

The brunette pulled out 2 cans of Coors Banquet making Sylvie laugh, knowing she probably swiped it from her dad's stash when he wasn't paying attention.

Chloe tossed one to Sylvie and she caught it, holding it away from her as she opened it so the beer wouldn't spew all over her.

Sylvie took a long sip before sighing and leaning her head back, the wind caused goosebumps to form on her body as the water on her dried.

As she took in a deep breath she felt at ease, the smells and sounds of nature around her almost putting her to sleep.

The sun was close to setting and that meant that if they didn't get back, John would have all the wranglers out looking for them and she didn't want to get in trouble for not only being late but also drinking.
